ADegenerate
Archie really nailed it by bringing the recruits out onto the court as they we're taking their seats. They get a direct feel for just how important basketball is here and it let's them get a taste of it! Brilliant work Arch and staff!

You are always out there when we are competing for five stars. There was no NCAA violation. The recruits were simply lead across court to their seats, rather than escorted along the sidelines. In fact security took down signs. Shouting a recruit's name from the stands, whether they enter along the sidelines or across court..... is not an NCAA violation. What it is ... is a brilliant move by Archie Miller. So sad. Too bad. Roy did not think of that.
Muckraker
UNC already proved that there is no such thing as an NCAA violation.

They are already encouraging students to put up signs all across campus for a recruit scheduled to visit this weekend. Knowing that NCAA rules do not apply to them. BobSaccamanno
Preventing signs on campus for a recruit is not the best use of the NCAA’s time and symptomatic of how utterly dysfunctional they are. They need to tear it down, get the Ivory Tower folks out of the way, and hire people that understand the real world and their legitimate missions and priorities. Even a modicum of common sense would help greatly.

They are going to put up a sign for a random non-athlete prospective student as well so it's ok with the NCAA.

Allyoop windmill type stuff. I hope the kid maximizes his potential because he's one hell of a talent. I think the basketball IQ might be above average as well. I don't know if he'll dominate college and be the lock #1 pick but I know his floor his incredibly high. Currently at 5th in the 2019 mock draft. I'll comfortably say he'll go higher. Fine Rico. Last post from me that isn't Brooks related.

FKIM01
Purdue forums still thinking Purdue has a solid shot. According to his list, they don't. https://247sports.com/Recruitment/Keion-Brooks-98505/RecruitInterests Looks like it is MSU, Followed by IU and Kentucky if the "experts" know what they are talking about. ADegenerate
Ok, you guys are starting to really get me hyped up but there’s some major alarm bells going off. From what I can tell from the vibe on the site is that there’s basically a site wide consensus that we’re landing romeo (say 80%), in good shape for garland say (70%), a lock for Jackson-Davis (90%+), and have caught up with MSU for Brooks and trending up. Some possibilities here. 1) I come off like an asshole for thinking it’s a coin flip at best for Garland and the same for Romeo but I’m right. 2) There’s something like a 50/50 chance for all three and we’re both slightly off. 3) The momentum (yes, I definitely feel it) is real and we actually land every single recruit we’re after...and join the upper echelon from the get go. Other than Cal/UK I can’t think of a bigger instant turn around. It’s absolute dream stuff. Y’all are pulling me in here! No matter what happens it’s been fun though. Love the content and the posters are awesome.

Love the content and the posters are awesome. I think you can scratch number three off the list, we're not going to get every recruit that we want. I think we are going to have a chance in most recruiting battles and are going to win a lot of them. I also think there is a strong possibility that we land Romeo and Garland, especially now that Jerry Meyer has reluctantly changed his CB predictions to IU for both.
