It was an ugly game, but such a gusty effort. Defense turned it up a notch in the second, Galloway and Reneau carried the offense, and Leal was clutch when we needed it.
Hope everyone in the program enjoys it! They deserve that.
Is my takeaway here that you think Woodson has broken things as badly as Jordan has? Or that you think another coach could come in and make major improvement in 2 years from what we currently have?
I think expectations are relative to the situation a coach walks into. We've pretty well proven as a fanbase in the past 15 years that we can understand the nuance of each situation.
I agree right up until the very last part of the last tweet. Maybe predicting things would go this badly wasn't possible, but also planning on getting "good" X all season was something that was always a silly idea.
Michigan and Michigan State both have worse splits at home, which is surprising.
We actually have a bigger differential than Purdue, which I think will surprise a lot of folks.
Co-sign. I think Dolson has done a really good job.
He's going to be judged by what happens with basketball and football in the coming years, rightfully so, but right now I think he has handled things appropriately (to put it mildly) with both.
