  1. Thats the play, everyone can judge how they want, so long as no one tries to say it was some minimal amount of contact.
  2. Not surprised. Our starting lineup with Cupps is also a really efficient lineup.
  3. I mean I don’t really care what the rule should be, it was a pretty easy call with what the rule is.
  4. Malik got t’d up for yelling at a ref about a no call. It was great to see some emotion. Sparks got an F1 on a drive in the first half. He got fouled (which they called) and then Sparks put his forearm up to fight through the contact and caught Key in the face. It was the right call, but it was also just an unfortunate basketball play.
  5. Great post! I'd add that we should expect to get more offensive boards with more threes.
  6. 100%. Even with a couple of pretty big stinkers shooting from 3, we are actually 35.7% since the start of December. We just need to shoot more of them IMO. We're at 16.3 attempts per game in that stretch, what if that was 22 and we kept making at the same clip, plus it led to an additional offensive rebound and we score on that 50% of the time? That's 7 more PPG... Would probably only change a couple outcomes at best, but it also makes a lot of the blowouts closer and we'd be in a much better spot for March. Either way, would really love to see us play more perimeter oriented these next 5 weeks to see where we end up and can build towards for the future.
  7. I don't mind Galloway as a starter, especially if you have LM and MM at the 3 & 4 next year. Bring in a portal PG who can shoot as well, and Galloway's streakiness isn't an issue.
  8. I would tell him to find a change of scenery if I was giving him advice. If you look at his numbers, he’s not a bad player on offense and he’s not a bad rebounder (not great either). Not totally sure on his defense, he definitely fouls a lot, but I think he’s probably not being put in the best situations by Izzo. I could see him having a huge rise in stock next year in a new program.
  9. Yeah I think so too. We do have potentially 3 Quad 2 games and 5 Quad 1 games left. So if they hypothetically get to 20 wins, that’s at least 3 Quad 2 and 3 Quad 1 wins. Then you hope that Michigan and Ohio State play great ball the rest of the way to sneak those into Quad 1. Obviously we all want to make the tournament, but if the team puts up the type of fight in the next month to even make it a conversation then I’ll be happy with the effort to get there.
  10. Team needs to find a way to get to 20 wins in the regular season, then probably win a couple in the BTT to have a good shot. If they do that, the numbers should work themselves into a bubble case.
  11. We haven’t won there in a long time, nice to change that!
  12. I mean this is a very complimentary way - that was a Zach McRoberts type of effort from Leal tonight. Would love to see him give us those the rest of the season (and next season?). You can't play 5 ball dominant players, but AL does so many little things that help teams win games.
  13. Unfortunately it is where they are at the end of the season. We would love for OSU and Michigan to end up top 75 in NET so that those wins are both Quad 1.
  14. Wild night! UNC upset at home against a solid Clemson team. Kelvin Sampson ejected up by 20. And a big road win for Steve Alford's Nevada on the road over ranked Utah State.
  15. I mean the committee is a little different every year, but 2 years ago our BTT wins hardly moved the needle. We all thought they'd' have moved us to like a 10 and we were the last team in. I think we need to beat Purdue and Wisconsin and have 20 wins at the end of the regular season, then win a couple in the tournament. Something like 22-12 and hope the OSU and UM road wins end up Quad 1.
  16. No, not with just 4 or 5 of them.
  17. No, it's called enjoying the moment.
  18. It’ll be for like another week, yes.
