  1. Agreed. I think he seems like a guy who is continuing to grow as a player, though. Auburn was a pretty good team until he got hurt last year and has been terrible ever since, and Oregon is obviously in the CFP conversation and he's in the Heisman conversation. I'm not sure why Bo couldn't be a second or third round guy that ends up like Jalen Hurts. Any guy you take in that range is going to have to put in work, but at least Bo is a guy that has all the physical tools in place.
  2. Yes, but I'm willing to give that particular game a pass because it was his first game in a new system, with a new coach for Oregon as well, and they flew halfway across the country. I do think it's more than fair to hold some bad moments at Auburn against him. That's why I'd like to see him have a big game against a good team now that he's had time to adjust to Oregon.
  3. Nix really intrigues me if we aren't going to take a QB high. He has all the tools in the world (GREAT athlete, strong arm, good size, good pedigree) but was very up and down at Auburn. He has put up phenomenal numbers at Oregon, but you'd obviously want to see him do it in a Bowl Game or CFP setting against either like an SEC team or the OSU/Michigan loser in the Rose Bowl.
  4. Rivers was drafted very shortly after Drew Brees. Mahomes wasn't necessarily taken close to Alex Smith, but Alex Smith was still a fairly reasonable age and playing great, and the Chiefs moved up for Mahomes. The reality is when teams see a guy they think they can upgrade with at QB in the draft, they're willing to do it and it often pays off big. The Colts just have a coward at GM that really only takes low-risk, high-reward moves and is afraid to actually take a big swing. That's why we haven't won anything worth while in his tenure despite all the accolades of him as a great drafter.
  5. I'd prefer Lutz not get me points because Kamara is getting me touchdowns. I have Olave in my dynasty league so I'd like to see him have a big game, but I have wrapped that week up already (I am on the bubble for playoffs so would like as many points as points as possible in case it comes down to that). If Lamar just wants to break Fields new record I'm good with that
  6. @5foulswe should have a nail bitter this evening.
  7. I’m not sure we have to try to tank properly at this point. If Ehlinger is our QB all year and Taylor misses a lot of time (and he absolutely should), then the tanking will take care of itself. We have the worst offense in the league, probably quite comfortably, if the two above points are true.
  8. Points: TJD - Rebounds: TJD - Steals: X - Blocks: TJD - Assists: X - 3’s %: Race - 3’s Made: Kopp - FT Attempts: TJD - FT %: X
  9. How can I report harassment and bullying?
  10. I think that’s unanswerable at this point. We may have blown the tram up completely by April, or we could be trying to build a house on sand.
  11. Colts suck. We need a huge overhaul. Fields is looking good. I think he is the best QB from that class.
  12. I think it’s pretty clear that we might only get to enjoy JHS for a year. Kid is an absolute stud.
  13. Who are the two? We will probably draft in front of a lot of those teams. I'd say right now we are probably getting no worse than the fourth QB in the draft, which is still a good get in this draft IMO.
  14. I don't disagree that defense is the most important thing, I just don't understand why we can't put up a lot of points in a hurry. It might look different than how the Crean teams did it, but that's far from the only way to have an explosive offense. Turnovers, as you said, can certainly be a big part of it but we have several guys who can get out and run off of misses (or maybe even makes?).
  15. Just curious, but why can't this team put up points in a hurry? We'll probably be better than our competition at 3 if not 4 positions most nights.
  16. To your point, plus/minus is a valuable stat over time but in a one-game snap shot it doesn't tell a ton. Even then, it's a very incomplete stat devoid of context.
  17. Probably worse in a lot of cases.
  18. They are too good, too soon. As the roster currently stands it'll be competing somewhere in the 7-10 range I'm afraid. Need to either make a move to get better or get rid of Turner and Hield for picks in the next 1-2 months. On a positive note, Benny and Hali looks like one of the best young duos to build around in the league and our guys around them look to have the making of a very solid supporting cast. If we can do something with these three first rounders we have, we could really put together a young core that can be a force for years to come.
  19. I think it’s neither. I think it’s we want one of X or JHS on the court almost at all times, and JHS chemistry with MR who was coming in.
  20. Definitely agree - I'd like to ensure even a guy like Duncomb is getting minutes in these early games so when there is an inevitable injury down low or a matchup like PU where we need his size, we can plug him in and he doesn't look like he's never played basketball. Early in the year, play a lot of guys and let them get comfortable, but later in the year tighten down the rotation and play the best 8-9 guys who are playing really well.
  21. You are nicer than me. I noticed it but wasn't going to say anything until after the games started so he couldn't change it.
  22. I certainly don't want to overstate it, but it's possible that JHS is on the level of EJ as a freshman and MR is as good as any freshman big we've had, sans probably Zeller, in a long time. Not saying MR is better than NV, TB, or TJD, but I think he is very much on the level of those guys as freshman.
  23. I won't be shocked if by the end of the year MR is on the floor in crunch time more than Race. That's not a knock on Race at all, I think MR is just that good. I don't think they'll switch in the starting lineup because they're both really good and I think Woody will give deference to the senior in a situation like that.
