  1. Right. We have four guys capable of making All-Conference in our starting lineup, we don't need Kopp to shoot a lot we need him to play his role.
  2. Bringing him off of the bench and leaving JHS in when the first few subs comes in also allows it to be the JHS and Malik show for a few minutes, where as if Malik is starting he isn't going to get as many touches with that group. I'd so much rather him play 17-22 minutes and be the guy during those minutes than play 28 minutes and get less shots than he does in his minutes now. I don't want to do what Purdue did where they never played Edey and Williams together (they're more limited than MR and TJD, anyway), but look at the numbers those two put up in a time share.
  3. I highly doubt it. I think Malik knew coming in what his role would look like if both guys came back and he was good with it. He could be 6th Man of the Year this year and an AA next year. He also came from a program that plays seniors over more talented guys sometimes. As long as they’re all getting good minutes I don’t see why he’d start at this point.
  4. Any of the offensive guys could work for me. Sean Payton with total controls would be great, too, but I think that's a pipe dream. I haven't seen anyone in any NFL circle mention Lane Kiffin returning to the pros, but I'd love that, too.
  5. Yeah Kamara was just brutal last night. Saints couldn't get anything going on offense at all. Good win for you!
  6. Oh yeah, it was definitely both ways terrible. Very inconsistent all night no matter who had the ball.
  7. Refs were terrible, didn't matter though.
  8. I think this team is really, really good. We are oozing experience, depth, and talent. We have three, maybe even four guys down low that are All-B1G caliber players. We have two guards as good as any in the league. Our three wings that'll get big minutes all bring unique skills to the table. This is easily, IMO, our best and most complete team since Zeller was here. I actually think we have less weaknesses than that team did, but I'm not sure our strengths are quite as good as that teams were. This should be a very special year.
  9. Not a bad first, first half. Have some things we’ve got to clean up but it’s every single guy on this teams first time being the hunted at the college level.
  10. For those not watching, its should have been an offensive foul and a zero point play, but it gave X his second foul.
  11. Rough few minutes for the boys in stripes....
  12. While the "blow time" line did not work recently on my wife, I will be letting her know tonight is all about Morehead. I expect similar results.
  13. - Favorite Player: This one is pretty tough, TJD is honestly making a very strong case for himself at this point. I LOVED watching EJ and he was a great dude, and a freshman the same year as me so that was fun. AJ Guyton is probably the first guy I have a good memory of. I was a big Sheehey fan, too. - Favorite Game Attended: Probably the game we beat Purdue by 37 in West La La in 2013. - Favorite Family Memory: My first child was born in late January 2016, and for whatever reason I have a very vivid memory of watching and holding her during the Kentucky game in the tournament that year.
  14. I wouldn't walk away from that amount of money if I were Matt Ryan. Maybe if we cut him and he is getting paid anyway, but I'm not letting the Colts off the hook for free.
  15. I mean I agree with this only because I hope we lose out, which we have a decent shot at now. This is a clown show for the rest of the year.
  16. I'm going to push back on you a ton here man, especially given your past defense of Ballard and current unwillingness to say he needs to go. You've very carefully danced around saying that from what I can tell. Matt Ryan was worlds better than any QB on the roster. Yesterday showed that. Most of his turnovers, the vast majority, were the fault of the offensive line. He had thrown like 3 picks all year that were truly bad on his part, most were due to unblocked defenders or tipped balls. I'm not sure how you can say Marcus Brady sucked with a straight face. Coming into the season he was a guy talked about as a future head coach, and he wasn't the person calling plays. Our offense in the one game without him completely regressed. Now I don't know if those two moves were made by Ballard or Irsay, but either way, neither made our team better. Frank sucked and needed to go, but every move so far from my perspective has been scapegoating the real problem, which is Chris Ballard has built a shitty roster and completely whiffed several times in the past few years.
  17. Agree to disagree. He has zero head coaching experience and wasn't a formal part of the Colts organization 2 hours ago. That's not typically something stable organizations do when bringing in an interim leader.
  18. Maybe not that big, I've got to catch you still haha.
  19. I mean the entire season is embarrassing, yesterday was just the latest version of it. The GM that built this train wreck of a roster has to go too.
  20. We are a complete laughing stock. And that decision bodes terribly for Ballard. He either made the call to bring in Saturday, or didn't get to make the call to bring in Saturday.
  21. It should be scorching. What exactly has that man done to keep his job?
