  1. Benny and Hali are great pieces to build around. Duarte, IJax and Jalen Smith are pretty nice secondary pieces. But the Pacers really, really need a stud. I think Hali and Benny can be top 25 or so players in a few years, but they need a guy who can be Top 5-10.
  2. I think so, but he is probably a rotational piece more than a top 2 or 3 player.
  3. I am 0-82 when using this line on my wife.
  4. I would say something to the commissioner. That’s incredibly annoying and child like. Is this a money league?
  5. To be clear, I don’t think the trade should be vetoed at all. I just thought my offer was marginally better but I think you raise a valid point about the need to win this week. That trade should absolutely go through, though.
  6. Eh I have seen collusion. I’m good with it in those circumstances.
  7. Theoretically it could veto the trade if enough people do, but I would be shocked if that happens. I'd probably think long-term on trades in the future FYI, one week isn't that big a deal in the grand scheme of things.
  8. Didn't you just try that with Kev? I figured you were the wife, not him.
  9. I have no problem giving Ballard credit that he has turned out correct that we had the weapons we needed. Now the line.... that's on him. Hoping the changes we made last week work long-term because the play was much better.
  10. I agree, I just thought my offer was better, especially if the goal was a RB upgrade. But definitely not voting against that trade.
  11. @mrflynn03surprised you took that offer instead of mine!
  12. It’ll take two months IMO. Then I hope the Pacers buyout Westbrook.
  13. I think it’s possible this is their best team.
  14. Have to think a move like this would be a major hurt to some fantasy owners. Would be hard to figure Kupp or Debo wouldn't take a hit from this, and maybe CMC as well.
  15. Saints @ Cardinals (-1.5) Packers (-5.5) @ Commanders Falcons @ Bengals (-6) Lions @ Cowboys (-7) Browns @ Ravens (-6.5) Giants @ Jaguars (-3) Bucs (-10.5) @ Panthers Colts @ Titans (-2.5) Texans @ Raiders (-7) Jets @ Broncos (-2) Seahawks @ Chargers (-6.5) Chiefs (-3) @ 49ers Steelers @ Dolphins (-7) Bears @ Patriots (-8)
  16. You know the answer to this. Scott is the king of complaining about things he watches, or doesn't watch, depending on the point he is making. Go check out the NBA thread, there is no one better at complaining about the product, that he claims he doesn't watch because it is bad, while also posting a random Pacers halftime score and complaining about the coaches sub patterns.
  17. In my dynasty league? I believe he went late second round. Etienne was a first rounder. But dynasty league you are only drafting rookies. My rookie class is London, J. Williams, Olave, Pierce, Perkins, Pierce, B. Robinson, J. Ford, and Pacheco. Very pumped about it for the long term.
  18. I like that. My dynasty league we have $550 salary cap (1st round pick is 5, 2nd round is 3, and 3rd is 1) and then players salaries go up every year. You can franchise tag 1 guy as long as he wasn't top of his position. Top player at each position go up a minimum of $40 or 50% increase, then slots 2-6 receive $20 or 40% increase. Everyone else is a minimum $5 increase or 20%. We have 6 taxi squad spots and anyone that remains on it until the auction draft (free agency) has their salary locked.
  19. Waivers don't reset every week in that league, which I am a fan of. It makes you have to think before just aimlessly adding someone during waiver pickups if you have a high waiver pick. I might rather hold my waiver than pickup a kicker or defense on my starters bye week, for example.
  20. But it also brings up a point, is it really zero running back if you're taking your running backs before drafting depth at other spots? I hear zero running back and think a team is taking their fourth WR before taking a running back, but I don't think there is a universal rule on what it is.
  21. That's a lot of chips falling your way to hit those three backs, three rounds in a row late. Especially since they were all guys projected as sleepers by a lot of people. It's unlikely in a good 12 team league they're all making it to those spots
  22. I mean it is, you're counting on you being able to pick up guys on the wire as they come available which is much harder to count on in better leagues. I'm not trying to be a dick about it.
