  1. So you're all for player safety, but you've got to let guys play with a potential head injury when we just saw how catastrophic doing that can be?
  2. The only thing I'll agree with you on is that I don't like trick plays inside the 5, with the possible exception of 4th down or a two-point conversion. Having said that, Boyd has to throw that ball at Burrows feet and move on. EDIT: But didn't you say misdirection should have been used a few posts up? Is that not what a double reverse is?
  3. They do have such a long history of being in LA and there is so little else to do there….
  4. The Falcons decision is a no brainer. If you make the first one, then a TD wins. If you miss the first, you still get a second attempt if you score another TD. This isn’t a stat geek thing, it’s common sense that coaches ignored for years.
  5. I definitely understand the frustration and being sick of Draymond, but he did apologize to both Poole and Poole's family for what it's worth. That said, I think he should be suspended for some amount of games that actually matters. I've heard all the former players say fights happen in practice and these things normally stay in house, but I doin't think that was a fight as much as a sucker punch. I definitely don't put this in the same category as punches thrown in a game against an opponent, but something in the 5-10 game range feels right to me. Just my $.02.
  6. So a 20+ stroke difference for a really, really good amateur. Average amateur is probably double that difference from their normal score IMO.
  7. That’s amazing. And you’d obviously understand course management and where to miss better than most amateurs playing a PGA course. Id love to see them start letting amateurs play a tournament on PGA conditions the week after a tournament. Would be fun to see some scratch guys get their ass kicked a couple times per year.
  8. If the goal is to go undefeated the answer is LBJ or KD, probably KD in all honesty. X, JHS, KD, Race, TJD. Where is there even remotely a weakness there? You go Steph, you still have a potential weakness on the wing. You go Lebron, you can still definitely argue shooting. But KD at the 3 in college..... good luck. Who is Purdue putting on TJD when they have to put Edey on KD to even get a hand in his face?
  9. The flip side is we are a missed field goal and a JT fumble away from being 4-1. Football is a game of inches, I don’t personally buy that we are lucky to be 2-2-1… I think that’s about right for how we’ve played honestly. The disappoint for me is that I think this team is capable of so much more.
  10. He has been very impressive on contested balls since Week 3. I think we’ve got something there.
  11. Colts @ Broncos (-3.5) Giants @ Packers (-8) Texans @ Jaguars (-7) Titans (-2.5) @ Commanders Bears @ Vikings (-7) Seahawks @ Saints (-5.5) Lions @ Patriots (-3) Dolphins (-3) @ Jets Steelers @ Bills (-14) Chargers (-3) @ Browns Falcons @ Buccaneers (-8.5) 49ers (-6.5) @ Panthers Eagles (-5.5) @ Cardinals Cowboys @ Rams (-4.5) Bengals @ Ravens (-3) Raiders @ Chiefs (-7)
  12. I had you as more of a broomstick guy.
  13. Apple added better sleep tracking to the Apple Watch. If you have an iPhone, it's definitely a good all around option for fitness, smart watch, Golf GPS, etc.
  14. So you're the guy who takes his own putter to a Putt Putt course?
  15. It isn't the tie being ignored, it's that our record would be different as a result of the tie. If we are say 9-7-1 we would go over a team that was 9-8.... We've played one more game than everyone right now, thus we are 2-2-1 and tied with teams that are 2-2.
  16. The tie is ignored, we have the same wins and losses as those 2-2 teams so it goes to the tiebreakers in standings. That's why we are in front of some and behind others. Once every team has played 17 games that tie will be very relevant, because it'll make for a .5 game difference one way or the other.
  17. @Indykev I’ve got a golf question for you. You’ve caddied for Major winners and have seen a lot of pros and amateur golfers. What would an average mid handicap amateur (say 10-15 index) shoot on an average Tour setup course? Not like US Open conditions, just a regular tournament. I am guessing well over 100 and think even a scratch amateur would struggle to break 90.
  18. Always good to start off with a par!
  19. I'd love for the Colts to take him. It would be a real, real shame if JT's ankle just bugs him all year and he sits down for the remainder and we fired Pastor Frank, then hired Dorsey and had a high pick that let us draft a CJ Stroud or Bryce Young....
