  1. Sudfeld was promptly brought in to Detroit. I'd love to see him get to start a few games once Williams is back later this season.
  2. You think we'll have a package for Ehlinger to play in regular season games this season?
  3. If he stays healthy he definitely can have a big year. I don't think 1200 yards, 10+ TDs, and 40-50 catches is out of the question for him at all if he plays 17 games.... but that's a big if.
  4. I like Vaugh in Tampa, too. Whichever of those two emerges as the backup has a lot of upside when Fournette inevitably misses games.
  5. I could see Pittsburgh, they could use a better option behind Harris. But I have him in a different redraft league, so I hope they run him into the ground and he is a top 3 back this year.
  6. Why the Eagles? They already have three backs they like to get involved, I can't imagine bringing in a fourth that doesn't play ST.
  7. Is the thought that he is going to play a lot on defense, or do they want to keep Speed off of special teams while he is playing more snaps on defense?
  8. I've never played in a league with 3 WR, 2 flex and a 2nd QB. I would definitely not say most leagues are that way.... And the rest of your post you're basically complaining about more strategy involved throughout the year, which seems like a good thing. I'm in a dynasty league with massive benches and it sucks because there is no roster movement ever.
  9. Agree with all of this, our special teams is pretty dang good in all aspects. We can block kicks, return kicks, I don't expect any drop off in punting despite Sanchez being injured, Glasses is great inside of 50.... my ONLY special teams complaint is I wish we had a kicker with more range, but that's a decade plus complaint at this point and while occasionally that hurts you, having a guy automatic inside of 50 is probably more important than the rare 50+ yarder anyway. On the Pierce thing... yes to him winning 1 on 1s, but other guys can too. Hines is going to get a lot of chances to be a chain mover IMO, Campbell if he is healthy, I think Granson on passing downs will be really good (I don't think he'll produce like Dallas Clark, but I don't think those comparisons on skillset are unfounded either).
  10. Yeah I think this is fair, but also, we potentially have the type of team that is really hard to beat in the playoffs. Elite defense, elite running game, and a veteran QB that I think will be exactly what we need. Realistically, we need Matt Ryan to be what Phillip Rivers was (Rivers didn't have this defense or run game), and I think he has at least that much left in the tank.
  11. 100% agree. I think this freshman class has a chance to be mentioned with some of the elite classes in program history. JHS will have the most impact this season, but I fully expect big things from all four of them and I don't know the last time I really expected that from the entire class.
  12. JHS is exactly what we need. They're all impressive, but I really think that kid is going to leave a hell of a mark on the program.
  13. Your thinking with the Buffalo RBs was my thinking with the Seattle RBs for a flex/second RB (figuring CMC will miss time at some point). And of course I have Gibson as a flex and his value at least for the first couple months is going to be up.
  14. Yeah - I think he'll be a good player for us. Obviously it will take a year or two, but we knew that coming in. To me, the biggest question on offense is how well does pass protection hold up (but it will be an upgrade for what Ryan has had the past few years regardless) and who else can step up catching the ball. We have what I think is a legit #1 in MPJ, but we need another option... is that Campbell staying healthy, Pierce, Hines getting more involved in the passing game (can we get a Third and Hines situation where we know he is automatic for us?), or I think a sleeper to be a real weapon is Granson. We just need 1-2 of those to work out with our running game and defense to be really scary on both sides of the ball IMO.
  15. Yeah, same. I’m pretty bullish on this team and the upgrades we’ve made. I think the Colts are being slept on quite a bit.
  16. I mean I could be completely wrong, that’s just my understanding of what happened. As y’all know from some of my other posts, I have extremely low tolerance on that issue.
  17. Cam Young staying with the good guys!
  18. Bro you know that a caddie can’t talk a player out of hitting cuts and draws when they want to do it. Playing disciplined golf is hard even for the pros.
  19. JT voted best player in the afc and fifth best in the nfl by the other players…
  20. Correct me if I’m wrong, he admitted they had sex and he’s basing his claim to innocence on the fact that he thought he just got an 18 year old blitzed instead of a 17 year old… Unless I have something wrong there… fuck that guy.
  21. To be fair, we acquired an elite or really good player at two of those four positions and did use high picks on the other two… and I’m personally bullish on Pierce.
  22. Yeah… he got auto picked to me as I was diving home from dinner and I wasn’t happy. Now I think he’s a potential steal… Glad Robinson isn’t life threatening. I have him in a dynasty that I’m doing a rebuild so that’s a bummer there.
  23. I think I follow golf/am more into golf than the average fella, but I also think you are infinitely more connected and follow it/into it than me…. I don’t get the big draw to LIV that you have. Sorry if you’ve explained it, but can you again? I genuinely respect your opinion on golf (and other stuff) and am just curious why you’re pushing it so hard.
  24. I agree with you, but I don’t think TJD playing that way and X playing the way he did (and that we need him to) are mutually exclusive. I’m fact, I’d argue there is a lot of correlation between the two. If they can both play like first team all conference guys, that makes the game so so so much easier for everyone else to just relax and play their part.
