  1. It honestly didn't even register with me until your posts about it. So, while I didn't find it in poor taste, I've spent a lot more time talking about it than I ever would have because you aren't worked up over it.
  2. I believe this is two years in a row where @btownqbhas dwarfed the field in terms of points allowed. I'd like to launch a formal investigation into him for collusion with @Indykevfor how the schedule was made.
  3. I think it's more likely that it did fit in the context of the conversation he was having with his good friend and partner, and he got in a little jab like a lot of us would do towards a buddy. Then he quickly caught himself. In terms of nothingburgers, this is a full pound burger.
  4. The AFC West, despite being perhaps the most talented division in football, has three teams that don't know how to win games. You love to see it.
  5. Really good win, don’t care what anyone says. Got some good play from two key rookie pass catchers, Pittman was good, defense was outstanding, Ryan was clutch for the second time in two chances to be clutch. I have a ton of complaints about this team, but those can wait for tomorrow.
  6. Frank is such an absolute moron. He just absolutely flipped this game with his stupid ass lack of a brain. Please, for the love of all that is holy, fire him. Fire him before he leaves the damn building.
  7. My guess is that this goes very far beyond just dating based on how people that do know the facts are talking about it.
  8. I appreciate that he posted that. I'm guessing we won't ever learn all the facts, but I don't think he's going to coach in the NBA again. I think you were spot on that they suspended quickly and are working through the details beyond that, and I doubt another organization picks him up.
  9. My thought coming into the season was a division title and a deep run in the playoffs was the mark of a good season.
  10. I'm personally big on trying to be flexible to the draft as it unfolds instead of trying to be rigid on WR early, RB late, QB late, etc.... For me with early picks, it's where can I find a guy that is going to be a significant upgrade over my opponent week in and week out.
  11. I think you've made my point for me without knowing it. I'm 33 - I'm right in the heart of the target demographic for the NFL. None of those guys played in my lifetime (sans Montana when I was a child). I don't know that any college to people my age and younger resonates as a place that consistently is putting out NFL starting quarterbacks. That's probably one of the tougher positions in all of sports to become known for putting guys out - there's only 32 in the world and they tend to play every snap and play for a long time. The most any school has in the NFL right now is 3. And if not for Haskins tragic death Ohio State may have two starters right now but would at a minimum have two in the NFL.
  12. Alabama hadn't had a good NFL QB in my lifetime until very recently. When is the last time Texas put out a good NFL QB? LSU prior to Burrow? When is the last time ND had an NFL starting QB? The last three I just mentioned all have had first round picks that were something between mediocre and outright bust.
  13. A lot of schools haven’t. But if OSU isn’t producing busts then CJ is different. He’s going to be a top 5 pick.
  14. You didn't name them, but you named them in response to me asking who was a bust from OSU? Apologies for my confusion when you answered my question, I just assumed that was your own answer....
  15. I literally never disagreed with you on Stroud..... But he has always had studs at WR. CJ can be a stud and also have studs to throw to.
  16. I mean you did do it, you literally named them. If Rico thinks they're bust he should name them and explain why, because it's a silly thing to say. OSU has had one high draft pick at QB in a very long time and the guy died after two years in the league.
  17. How can we call guys that are Day 3 draft picks at quarterback a bust?
  18. JSN wasn't - he'd have been a high draft pick last year if he could have come out and he had ~350 yards and 3 TDs in that game. Baby Marv I guess was inexperienced but he still was already expected to be a first rounder. He's the 6'4 son of one of the top 5 WR of all time and he dominated in practice from the day he stepped on campus, he was just in a WR room deep enough to run off Jameson Williams.
  19. What is the history on Ohio State QBs being busts? I can't really think of any in my lifetime and I'm 33... Maybe Haskins, but I also think it's possible he is starting in Pittsburgh right now if he was alive.
  20. Right?!? He only had two other first round WR since those two were out.... I get your point, but Stroud has never had a game that he didn't have as good of receivers as any team in America.
  21. I'd probably snag Goff then. A lot of folks think Williams is the most talented rookie WR and we are already seeing guys like London, Wilson, and Olave have early impacts. Combine him with those other Detroit options.... that's a lot of weapons for Goff.
  22. I don't think there is like an official ruling on this. Guys can be a former player of more than one school, it happens literally every single year. An alumni is just someone who attended a school; they don't even have to have graduated. Now I don't think that in every situation there are warm feelings between multiple schools, but in a situation like Hurts I think that's a great example of a guy that would be welcomed back and cheered for by both schools. Didn't the Manning Cast have Saban on during an Eagles - Pats game last year to talk about Jones and Hurts? Didn't Joe Burrow go back to an OSU game recently? Hell, IU and ND probably have more reversible jacket fans than any other fanbases. We are the last people that should say you can only have allegiance to one school.
