  1. I hate the zero RB strategy. You are very much gambling that you are in a bad league for it to work.
  2. Yeah, you definitely don't spend all sorts of time online with regards to sports...
  3. I don't know if I can take an entire year of hearing how fantasy sports were better in the Cold War.
  4. This ranking feels right. We have a lot, if not all, of the elements you’d look for in an elite team. Shooting is the only question mark IMO and I’m of the mindset that it’s an overstated concern to begin with, but we have a lot of guys who could step up as a shooter and we really only need 1-2 of the. X and Race showed they can hit ~40% over an extended number of games, Kopp has done that at points in his career, I expect JHS to hit mid 30s but more importantly be a guy that can hit them when it matters, and I’d like to think Bates breaks out.
  5. I feel like Kravitz is a contrarian that doesn’t know sports very well.
  6. Yeah… and Kentucky is far from the SEC kings when it comes to having that sort of pull. Every major football school would likely have more pull than them.
  7. Eh I don’t read much into that. How many WR have we had be preseason heroes over the years that never amounted to anything? Including Patmon and Strachan.
  8. I really like Granson and Woods long-term outlook. Think both of those guys can be weapons in the passing game - Granson between the 20s especially and Woods anywhere, but especially the red zone.
  9. I'll be the first to admit I've been pretty hard on the Colts (I think justifiably so), but here are some good Colts things: If the Playoffs started today, they're in If they Colts win next week, they are really in the drivers seat to win the division Matt Ryan, despite his struggles, is number 2 in the NFL in passing yards Pittman is top 10 in catches, yards per game, and YAC among WR. Pierce is turning into a really good number two option (or maybe 1b after this year) Defense for the most part has been pretty dang good, despite Leonard only playing one half all year. Maybe we figured out the line finally on Sunday? Certainly a huge improvement over the first game against the Jags. Getting Taylor and Hines back when we have other things that can work on offense has the potential to make this offense dangerous. Frank has been pretty good with his decision making and play calling the past two games IMO. This team is sucking me in again and making me think two months from now we could once again be the team no one wants to play in the playoffs. Just hope we don't collapse like last year. EDIT: Matt Ryan has been really good when it mattered in 5 of our 6 games. Game 1: Led a big comeback and we should have won Game 2: Everything on the team sucked Game 3: Lead a 16 play TD drive that ate up almost the entire 4Q for the win, giving the Chiefs virtually no time to do anything Game 4: Led us into scoring territory twice late, Taylor fumbled one and we missed a FG on another. Not much to complain about from Ryan. Game 5: 4Q and OT against the Broncos, Ryan came on to get us scores when we needed them. Game 6: MONEY!! Great recognition to see Pierce had a 1 on 1 against a guy who couldn't cover him and instead of settling for a long field goal, he took the easy, safe (yes, a downfield throw when your WR has the guy cooked is safe) touchdown.
  10. Need 48.3 tonight from Eckeler and Williams in my dynasty league.
  11. I'm still unsure what to make of the Eagles. On one hand, they're obviously a really good team in all areas, but part of me still thinks they're a year away. I think how dominant they've been in the first half kind of hurts them, and when it comes down to the playoffs and they've got to beat a Brady, Rodgers, Stafford, etc. I think that may catch them. I hope I'm wrong about that because they're a really fun team and Nick Sirianni is an awesome dude.
  12. That and the pretty obvious PI on third down. Fields was certainly not great, but I didn't think he was bad either. The pick kinda is what it is, it was a tipped pass. But he ran well, made some plays in key moments, the TD pass he threw was a GREAT throw, and he should have led a two-minute drive for a win. Threw two really good balls on third and fourth down after the clutch run to get them down there.
  13. I don't know the answer to this, but is it normal for most recruits to be overly engaged with the head coach early on? It certainly doesn't appear to be hurting us with the approach we are taking so I'm not upset by it.
  14. That was funny. I'm glad they didn't show Gard's lower body, wouldn't want to see the piss dripping down his leg.
  15. Yeah, it’s pretty telling IMO. I think we struck gold with Woody.
  16. I agree 100%. He didn’t see the dude and got walked into in the same spot that things had just been out of hand at halftime. It’s completely normal for his reaction to be to push someone off of him that shouldn’t have been in his space. If it was a Chiefs player, no way the KC Police charge anything. Isn’t there some expectation from a camera man that you can get knocked over if you’re in the way?
  17. I saw it that way too, but that’s not a travel. He gets two steps, and what you just described is two steps. The foot being down as he catches it isn’t a step, it’s his foot being down already.
  18. I disagree and the fact that we can’t be sure is exactly why it shouldn’t be called a travel. I’d rather 50 travels go uncalled than h e something that isn’t a travel get called a travel.
  19. I also agree about the Auburn job, would not want it right now. Historically when Auburn has success, someone around them is down so that Auburn can capitalize and right now that ain't the case. It's not just Bama, but UGA, UT, UF, Ole Miss, then you add in Clemson nearby and UT and OU joining the SEC.... Auburn is probably in for some very lean years. I actually think Auburn's best bet to have success would be to lure Kiffin away from Ole Miss.
  20. Davante was charged with misdemeanor assault for the cameraman "shove". I find it pretty laughable regardless of everything surrounding that, but if the fans who threw stuff at him at halftime and used racial slurs aren't also charged then people in the Kansas City Police Department should lose their job. They'd never charge a Chiefs player because a camera man walked in front of them and ended up on the ground.
  21. You know the steps before he possessed the ball don't count, right? He took two steps with the ball in his possession which is completely legal.
  22. It's an auction league so I'm competing this year with a few of the guys I was able to pick up. Definitely need a long term option at QB though - have Zach Wilson on my taxi squad, just did a pick swap (late 1st for early 2nd) to get Fields, then have Brady and Russ (Russ has a salary that will make me cut him next year even if he bounces back somewhat). So yeah, I'm definitely in trouble there
  23. Yeah it's weird, I've been able to embed tweets recently with no issues and I know others were having issues.... and then this morning I couldn't.
