Looks like their best player is 6'9 and 250, Graham Ike. He averages 19.6 and 9.6.
They play 3 big guys. The other starter is Jeremiah Oden and he is 6'8 and Hunter Thompson who is 6'10. Thompson only averages about 2.6 and 1.5. Oden is only 200 pounds. So, it doesn't look like they have a lot of size up front, but Ike looks really good. They do have length at guard. Hunter Maldonado averages 17, 9, and 5 and is 6'7. The other regular guards in the rotation are 6'5, 6'4, and 6'7. So, the size of their guards could cause us some trouble.

Ladies got the 3 seed and play in Bloomington v. Charlotte. If we win, we likely would play red hot Kentucky. And if we win that one we would get 2 seed UConn.

We just aren't sharp this weekend so far.
T9 6-4
Brehmer- 3.2 IP 3H 3BB 5ER 1HBP
Tucker-4.1 IP 3H 1BB 2HBP 1ER
The lineup has been a non factor all weekend. Our 2-4 hitters just had a 1, 2, 3 inning at an AWFUL time to have one.
Is it fair to assume that this team is going to have its share of ups and downs during the year due to having such an inexperienced group?

I bet Davidson does not move. I think they were probably seeded 10 and will remain there. What Richmond winning does is move Richmond in as an 11 or 12. They can't be in the play-in, so we could see 4 12's in the play-in or 2 12's and 2 11's in the play-in.
That seems pretty reasonable.

Could IU move up a seed line over Davidson?

Figures doesn't it??
My issue with playing in Dayton is, isn't that a Tuesday game? If so, after playing 3 straight grueling games, it doesn't give the guys much time to recuperate.....
Two (I think) 11 seeds will not be playing in the playing in the play in games. So, we could be an 11 seed and play on Thursday or Friday.
Edit: 3 11 seeds don't play in a play in game. Palm (for example) has us playing the 6 seed LSU in Pittsburgh. 11 seed Memphis plays Texas and 11 seed Loyola playing Iowa.
Notre Dame and San Francisco are 11 seeds that play each other in Dayton.

Is nobody watching Montana St tonight? They are up 9 in the first half with a bid on the line!

I’m sure if you asked them they aren’t going to say “Yeah we were pretending to smoke weed.” I asked because I’m older and have zero clue what todays kids and their actions mean.
No, I understand asking the question. I’m older also so I get it. I agree it looked strange. I’m not one that gets into these bench acts personally. But I also just don’t want to assume the negative if I don’t know.

That would be the best outcome. But what were they tossing on the floor and stomping out?
Can’t answer that. Maybe they are making fun of people for all of the weed rumors? Maybe they smashed their tea cup into the ground? Why was Leal sitting on the floor making it look like a party? Do we really think they are pretending to smoke weed in such a public forum? I think it’s unlikely but maybe somebody should ask them instead of just assuming it’s something bad?

What were the players on IUs bench doing during the BTT? We’re they acting like they were smoking or sipping tea??
I looked at Leal (I think it was him) and I thought it was pretty clear he was sipping tea.

Haffner? Is that the Evansville star's son?
It is. He was also all-state at Noblesville.

These 3 days have been fun and while I’m disappointed, the Hoosiers absolutely proved they belong and I get to look forward to next week.

Palm now has us as an 11 seed playing LSU in Pittsburgh. The winner would likely get Villanova. Note that we are off the play in games.
Looks like he as Michigan and Rutgers as out.

Some had VCU as a bubble team and they got beat today also.

Part of me likes that, but the part of me that sat in the stands at games wondering who who come out at QB is getting flashbacks.
Ha! That's fair!

I can't verify, but I saw something somewhere that the QB competition is...tight. Love competition for starting spots.

I've been out celebrating and am just now catching up so sorry if I missed this, but did someone mention an interview with Fife?

Isn't it nice to be in a spot where all we have to do is wonder what our seed will be?

Might add Virginia Tech to that list.

Why does anyone even care? We have no shot at getting in. We were an essential lock at one point before choking like a dog as always.
Because I would rather live my life with hope than live my life with constant negativity and pessimism. Besides, it’s a fun way to look at college hoops this week.

I don't know if the Big Ten is the best conference in college hoops. But they are certainly one of the top 2-3. And not one team got higher than a 3 seed. And 3 teams got 11 or 12 seeds. I honestly don't think the conference as a whole got much respect.
