Might add Virginia Tech to that list.
Wake Forest losing today didn't hurt.

Can anyone confirm that we get Michigan next?

Why does anyone even care? We have no shot at getting in. We were an essential lock at one point before choking like a dog as always.
Because I would rather live my life with hope than live my life with constant negativity and pessimism. Besides, it’s a fun way to look at college hoops this week.

FWIW, Palm has Rutgers as the last team in, Michigan in the first four out, and IU not even listed.

Is it a pretty much lock we play Michigan?
I don't know if this helps or not, but Rutgers is one game ahead of both MSU and Michigan. And here are today's slate of games.
Rutgers hosts Penn State
MSU hosts Maryland
Michigan is at OSU

Also rooting for Santa Clara to lose. They may not be a bubble team but could play their way there. Don’t want the West Coat to become a four bid league when seems like they are already at 3.
-
Looks like BYU is right on the bubble with us and they got beat in their conference tournament by San Fransisco. This is good for us.
Also, Murray St won the OVC so no bid stealers there which is also good for us.

Nobody on here is talking about what a winning program we have with our women's team.
Proud of them!
There's already a thread for them.

The ladies will be taking on Iowa tomorrow for the title.

ESPN doing an absolutely stellar job of missing the first 7 minutes of three consecutive games
That's normal for them. They suck.

Thought the Classification numbers came out already. Since Cathedral moved up in 6A and New Pal to 4A
I was told (not by anybody official so assume it is rumor) on Friday that the enrollment numbers that were released have been pulled. I don't know who or how many, but apparently some schools complained.

I don’t know anything about him but Carmel’s Garwey Dual put on a show against Noblesville in the 3rd quarter of that game on both ends of the court.
Agreed. He was the best player on the floor that’s for sure.

I missed this earlier, but it looks like receivers coach Grant Heard is leaving IU for Central Florida. I wish I knew what was going on.

We will be ok here. This isn’t a bad development IMO.

Did I hear correctly that one player from each team was suspended?

I just saw from Wetzel (sp?) that UM handed down the suspension.

Juwan has been suspended for the rest of the regular season
Is that the only punishment?

Didn’t see this. Have a link?
Go to the previous page. There is a video that was posted. The video is not the TV copy. It was shot on the floor and gives a little different perspective.

So there is a fight on the court. Cooler heads are trying to get everyone to just go to their locker room. Yet obviously things are still tense. And Davison wants to go to the end of the court where Michigan is exiting to sing some school song. To me he is just intentionally rubbing salt in the wound. Did anyone else notice that?

We will run out of scholarships instead. That will be out biggest issue. Not enough scholarships for the incoming and everyone who might want to stay. if i remember reading correctly
Some of our seniors will move on. I don’t know who and have heard no rumors so I’m not trying to start anything. It just makes sense that some of them will just say it’s time to move on w life.

That's my concern for some of these schools. Spend all this $ and eventually might just go back to all grass.
We studied this about 15 years ago. Back then it wasn't really all that expensive. The expense was in the installation, but then there was virtually zero upkeep and maintenance. The money schools would pay to upkeep grass fields over about 8 years was about the same to install the turf. So, yes, there is expense over the short term, but a wash over the lifetime of the turf field. That was the last time I looked at the financial side so I have no idea what the current numbers would look like.

I know it’s big school hoops but I was in the gym when Gary Harris hit a half court shot to beat North Central in the sectional semifinals. I’m pretty sure we had more people in the gym than the fire marshal allows. Both were top five teams I believe and it was absolutely epic…maybe the best high school basketball game I’ve ever seen.

I got no idea and frankly it pisses me off.
Oh I do. Have you ever met a band director? The halftime show at a football game is more important than the game itself. It’s like everyone is there that night to watch them.

Some guy tweeted that the Colts and Steelers are in deep discussions for Wentz. Never heard of the guy so probably just click bait.
He retracted that and said he was duped. Personally, I think all of these “rumors” are just being talked about because the media has nothing else to talk about. They’re all just throwing darts.
