Can't forget Ivan Renko....even comming from USSR he was welcomed with open arms. 🤣
No doubt was the diplomatic olive branch this world needed.

My response is:
- FGCU is not a 'bad' mid-major.
- If we are going to label Cupps a mid-major talent who played well based on our opponent, what does that say about the 6 or 7 guys who played, but not as well. Are they mid-major talents as well.... or worse?
- In regards to the 'white' comment. As with any fan base for any sport at any level anywhere in the world, there will be certain fans that will pick a favorite based on some sort of prejudice.
And, it's not just race. Some fans will lean towards a local kid, a great shooter, who their dad was, the guy that gets under the opponent's skin, home run hitters in baseball, pretty boy QBs in football, etc.
Those types of prejudices happen with every fan base. Dakich is a tool for trying to make something out of it. This fan base has given a lot of love over the years to guards like Yogi Ferrell, AJ Guyton, I. Thomas, Q. Buckner, K. Smart, etc.
To your point, Tijan Jobe was a pretty popular fan favorite.

-Malik was awful defensively.
-We have to quit over helping
-We switch on defense WAY too much. It leads to breakdowns and easy baskets.
-If we didn't have a 7' guy inside, this would be been ugly, especially rebounding.
-Gabe Cupps is a stud. I was blown away by his defense. Thought he'd be a little behind there. He's quicker than what I thought.
-We need to use Malik's offensive prowess to open up the half court offense. Feed the ball down low like we did with trayce. Malik will need to learn to find open guys when needed.

That’s actually getting harder to find. I love coming home to casserole 3-4 times a week. 😑
Me too. But for that to happen, I make it, leave the house, then come home

I never said teams won't do this but for me I don't care for the practice. Like I have said our football team has been in the other side losing recruits on signing day.
Put it this way if you meet a women at work and you really have an attraction to her but you find out she is engaged. Do you still pursue her because she doesn't have the wedding ring in her figure yet. To me going after engaged women isn't the best thing to do especially for your health.
Can she cook?

We play for the tie, then give up a huge play. Make it make sense

And that's why you don't play conservative when you are 2-5

Typical IU fashion. Play not to lose

Grrrr. Don't put yourself in that position.
I'd like to know context and who else he's with.
This. Would love to know if anyone else on the team was with him.

That’s exactly what it sounds like. May be one of those situations where “mentors” have their own agenda that may not match the players choice or best interest.
I don't think losing a kid that refers to himself in the 3rd person is the worst thing.
Best of luck to him. We will be just fine.

Don't convince the kid. Convince the decision maker$.

What do you think went wrong? Was he simply overrated?
Yes.

Hill and Mostert have been absolute money. During the draft, I was torn between Jeff Wilson and Mostert

Same as other comment. @ephulhas to be going I'm lapping the field (big week last week I know) but 573 vs me?
Happens every year it seems like. Come for the King, best not miss! 🤣
Thankfully, my team has been scoring pretty consistent every week. Even without the big week last week, my team has scored pretty good.

Love the idea of putting up 150+ and getting beat by at least 90. What a week in fantasy!
It's going to make you feel even worse when I fail to score 100 next week

Weird big week for some. Glad to have a few pieces. I'm winning by a large margin in a few leagues and absolutely getting destroyed in a couple. Raheem Mostert...what an 8th round pick. We'll see how it plays out this for sure.
Keenan Allen has been a stud year in and year out. He seems like a guy that will eventually lose a step and have a big time loss in production, but it just doesn't happen. He is quietly one of the most consistent point scorers year after year

Getting absolutely destroyed by @ephul so far.....don't see me catching him.
In other news...sure glad I targeted the Jacksonville D in lineups across all formats!
I had Mostert out of the lineup at 12:59

Really? Seems pretty harmless to me.
FKIM01 has been known to do that on occasion.
A high school kid speaking to media in 3rd person? Yikes.

I saw Kent Sterling going off on this kid because he was talking about himself in the 3rd person....media guys...
I didn't hear it or not sure what context it was in, but if true, that'd be a red flag for me.

Original yes. Do they have the xtreme cheddar version I’ve never checked? The cheddar/pretzel combo is the bomb….sometimes my daughters snacks magically end up in the wrong lunch box….don’t know how that happens.
They don't need to have a Cheddar version. The original is the 💣
