  1. I remember seeing an article a couple weeks ago that made it sound like he was planning on moving on.
  2. Terrible pass by Jackson. Against the Titans, you can't afford to get behind big. If they can get ahead and get Henry 25 or 30 carries, you're going to have a real hard time of things.
  3. If we just look at our freshman and sophomores, we have Marshall, Ellis, Hewitt, and Swinton who have had playing time. Marshall and Ellis have had quite a bit, and Hewitt and Swinton made a few really big catches. All of those guys have 3+ years left. There are a handful of others who haven't played who have a lot of potential too. If there's anywhere we can afford losing people, it is at WR.
  4. Interesting. I think there will be some disappointed people here. Either Coan that he transfers to ND and doesn't get to start, or ND fans that Coan is starting. He's not bad, but he definitely hasn't been a difference maker.
  5. Depending on how good Matthews is, Whop leaving could be minimized. Swann mentioned a few days ago that it was time to get back to work. A lot of people took it to mean that he was coming back. I saw that Harris kid who was transferring from Colorado ended up at Arizona. Not sure who else is out there, but it wouldn't surprise me to get another transfer or two. I've been shouting about Da'Shaun Brown for 2 years now as the next guy to breakout. He got hurt on a punt this year and missed the rest of the season. Still looking for him to breakout eventually, but I'm not as optimistic on it as I used to be. I think next year will be tough for people to breakout with how few people we'll lose. Maybe Damarjhe Lewis? He was said to be pretty impressive in the little time we had last spring. Not sure if he even got on the field this year though.
  6. Go get some Taco Bell. Then you'll win some bowel games.
  7. I went to Burger King this week and ordered a whopper and fries for good luck. Didn't expect news this soon. Usually they don't get orders out this quickly. Still waiting on that whopper though.
  8. Can't even state how big it is for Fryfogle to come back. I had been working under the impression that he and Whop would leave just so I wouldn't get my hopes up. Him coming back is massive. Even if Whop leaves, we'll still have incredibly talented receivers. Hopefully Hendershot returns to his previous form. He had more yards as a freshman than he did this year. Different number of games, but he only had 151 yards on 22 catches. Multiple huge drops too. Hopefully he can get back to sophomore year form. Throw in a 5th year from Fryfogle, and bringing Marshall, Matthews, a ton of young talent in Hewitt, Swinton, and a lot of others. We're in great shape for another awesome season.
  9. He probably won't be an impact starter, but he'll provide decent depth. He had 43 tackles and 2.5 sacks this year.
  10. No other snub even comes close to Waller not getting 2nd team TE. They left it vacant instead of putting him on the 2nd team. Of all players, he was 4th in catches, 10th in yards, and 10th in touchdowns. He had 229 more yards, 25 more catches, and 5 more touchdowns than Beasley who made 2nd team WR. Waller had almost as many yards, more catches, and 5 more touchdowns than Kelce had last year, and they left the spot vacant instead of taking him.
  11. If we were going at a faster rate, I would say they should hold onto the 2nd dose, but we've only given 5.9 million shots of the 21.4 million distributed. If they held back 6 million to give a 2nd dose to everybody who has already had the first shot, we'd still have over 9 million doses to give out. At the rate we're going, it seems like we're getting more doses in than we're getting people vaccinated, so I feel like we'd be alright.
  12. Found the article about it. Powell could potentially play 2 more years here. That's a long time to play college football though, so not sure how many people would play their 6th year.
  13. Didn't he have 2 years available when he transferred here? I could be thinking about a different transfer though.
  14. I remember how bad our kickoffs and kickoff coverage was a couple seasons ago, and I agree that this is huge. I'm also curious to see how Campbell would do on kickoffs. I always wondering what his leg strength was like, but if I remember right, that 53 yarder in the bowl game hit the net at or above the height of the crossbar. Might have been good from 60.
  15. I remember he basically told me I was stupid when I said I thought Freeman's ranking would go up before signing day. Freeman's ranking went up, and I went to find his post, but apparently when you get banned your posts disappear. I miss that guy and all of his quality predictions haha.
  16. I like to rag on Wade because I think it was crap that he won awards over Mullen this year, but that's pretty cool. Telling a friend that someone in your division would be a good fit is pretty neat. Gained some respect for him. Also says a lot about our program.
  17. She never did when I first got her, but she talks more all the time. We had a "conversation" shortly after I posted the video haha.
  18. For people with knee problems considering knee replacement, I highly recommend getting a minimally invasive surgery. Both of my parents and my grandma all had it done. In and out the same day for a full knee replacement. Back to better than normal in a few weeks. My dad had his done probably 7 or 8 years ago and still did construction for another 5 or 6 years afterwards. Up and down, kneeling a lot, and never had any issues. None of them have had any problems since they got them replaced. All 3 of them say they wish they had it done sooner.
  19. At 33, I feel as though I'm not qualified to participate in this thread. Unfortunately, my body disagrees with that! I had a pain radiating up the back of my thigh and my "cheek" for a while. It was excruciating. I could barely walk, I could barely sit. By far the worst injury I've ever had. Thought it might be my sciatic, but I didn't have a lot of the other symptoms. Finally went to a couple doctors, and I could tell they were both confused. Neither believed me that it wasn't my sciatic. They wanted me to do physical therapy. Didn't go, but look up exercises to do, and they made it way worse. I was able to self diagnose it as high hamstring tendinopathy (hamstring tendinitis), but there was a ton of conflicting information on how to fix it. Finally found on some forum that someone's doctor said it was poor posture. Basically my hips tilt forward and my back sweeps forward and then up which makes the tendons in my hamstring have to travel further and puts stress on them. Did some strengthening exercises and was able to finally get over it. Dealt with it for close to 2 years.
  20. A couple weeks ago, my 9 month old husky lost her mind about her first snow. I couldn't get her to stop eating the snow. She peed 3 times in the house while I slept.
  21. Thanks guys. I'm planning on getting mine at 28 days (I got the Moderna shot). Just curious how that would work if there was some kind of distribution issue. Maybe a big winter storm and some people couldn't get in to get their 2nd shot. Or some places maybe got a shipment, used it all, and couldn't get another shipment in time. Looking into it a little more, it looks like there is some talk about getting as many first shots in as possible instead of reserving doses for the second shot. I'm seeing that the UK is delaying their second dose so they can give more people the first dose. They're saying within 12 weeks, but no idea how effective it will be.
