That’s not what’s important IMO. People have been charged with next to no evidence plenty of times, or at least sketchy evidence. If there’s a lot of evidence that looks damning, then fine (which again appears to be the case here). But just being charged with something isn’t good enough in my book. If you’re a highly talented basketball player and you get falsely arrested, falsely charged, and subsequently suspended for a whole year that costs you millions of dollars, you’re going to have a case to sue the you know what out of everybody involved. So regardless of charges or not, before somebody is suspended or punished I hope those in charge have more than enough proof.

I’m not a fan of somebody being punished prior to conviction unless there is solid proof, which in this case sounds like there might be. They waited prior to arresting him to do their due diligence. MLB suspends anybody suspected of domestic violence before any due diligence apparently. Pretty much been proven that one of the girls in the Bauer case was chasing him, looking for a pay day. And correct me if I’m wrong, but don’t think criminal charges have ever come for Bauer, only civil. Garbage IMO. And I’m not debating Bauer prob made some poor decisions and that he doesn’t have some loose screws. But I think he got screwed over.

I’m never a fan of suspending somebody (Bauer for example) prior to them being convicted. Just don’t think it’s right. But like you say, it sounds like they’ve done some due diligence over the last three months. This guy’s career and shot at the NBA is over, prob ruined his life. How foolish.

We’ll need to put our best foot forward at Nebraska! Solid Defense will test our two point efficiency. Really need to shoot it well and make some threes. Otherwise I feel like they’ll pack the paint and make us shoot. Could be a really long night.

I’m not opposed to guys getting rebounds and going back up strong if it’s there. Just wish we had guys smart enough to know when it’s a good shot and when it’s not. Up 1 with .27 secs left and .20 secs on the shot clock isn’t one of those times to go right back up, especially when you have three guys on you (like MR did at the end).

I know. I already got corrected on that, but do you want him going right back up with it or killing more clock and somebody else getting fouled?

Agree, we’re not the brightest team. But when we shoot threes I’m so shocked and partly excited that I struggle to get mad about any they take.

My bad, was thinking it reset to .30, but that’s not right. Regardless, shouldn’t have shot it for two reasons… to kill more clock and bc we don’t want him shooting free throws.

Positives… didn’t quit, won, and Anthony Walker. Pathetic performance otherwise. Missing FTs like we did is inexcusable. Didn’t guard the perimeter yet again. Can’t shoot. Not been mentioned, but I’m at a loss for words that Reneau isn’t smart enough to get that last rebound and kick it out with the shot clock turned off (Correction: it reset to .20, not .30… but general point stands.) Typical behavior though…. gets the ball and is determined to shoot at all cost unless he just can’t.
