Maybe, only because they are more disciplined and tougher it appears. But they definitely aren’t more talented, and they definitely shouldn’t beat us. But when you turn it over 9 times, get out-rebounded by a smaller team, and commit numerous idiotic fouls…. yeah, they’re the better team when that happens. Same story over and over. Although I’d say our perimeter defense isn’t what’s killing us.

Agree, but Leal had a chance to shoot it at the top of the key on one of those and wasn’t willing.

Only real issue I have so far is the offensive foul, prob walk on MM’s second foul….. official trailing the play should NEVER make that call.

I’m torn on this debate because I’m a competitor and opting out goes against everything I stand for. However, if you know for sure you’re about to be a multi-millionaire I can’t blame a kid for playing it safe and not risking injury in a meaningless game. The 12 team playoff will help this issue, but I think every other team should just be done. I’ll stop talking about college football in the wrong thread.

I think GA wins regardless, but Fla St was short 29 scholarship players and 13-15 starters. Not sure a meaningless bowl game that included one team’s second-third string players fits that narrative. JMO of course. I think it’s a lot more competitive with Fla St’s whole team. Kirby Smart even acknowledged it and said college football has a problem that needs to be fixed. The way Nebraska gets after it on D, this could be ugly. A very high efficient two point defense doesn’t bode well for us. Better be able to knock down perimeter shots and lock the perimeter down on the other end.
