Yeah, I’m surprised our lack of perimeter defense hasn’t been talked about more. Absolutely no reason to be sagging into the paint against Iowa. We gave up so many open looks to Murray and Bohannon (two of the best shooters in the league). Happened over and over, including 3 big ones in the last few minutes. Just can’t understand it. My only thought is that we’re so used to playing a certain type of D, that it makes it tough to adjust your style. 🤷🏻‍♂️

My thoughts … *Not disappointed at all with the way we played in the tournament. Hope it continues in the NCAA tourney. *However, we won’t make any type of run if we shoot 5-19 from three. That’s pitiful. MK and PS have to be better if we want to beat top teams. *Dumbfounded at how bad our perimeter D was against a team that has very little inside game. *Piss on Bohannon and his lucky bullshit all of the time.

6 point halftime lead with MK/PS a combined 0-9. We have to make some shots in the second half and have to upgrade in this area next year. Keep up the defensive intensity and we’ll be right there again.

Man, I want to assume this gets us in, but remember this is Indiana! We don’t ever seem to catch breaks. Proud of this team for playing with intensity for 40 minutes. We can beat anybody on any given day when we do that. Hope these kids are seeing that.

We’re going to lose this game if we can’t make a few threes… bc they will. Frustrating knowing their shots are going to go in half of the time and hoping that ours go in occasionally.

Why the f is XJ still sitting!? This is the stuff that is so frustrating about CMW. We played the last 5-6 minutes glad to keep it close.
