@5fouls answered it. Illinois is the worst possible matchup for us. We typically have an advantage inside, but against them we don’t have an advantage anywhere. Go Iowa.

I think you just saw them in bc they were the highest seed remaining in their conference tournament (they were #3, Loyola #4), so they were in as an automatic qualifier. Otherwise they didn’t have a shot.

More reason we want them in the second round! Not Illinois.

We need Loyola to win bc they are a bubble team. If Drake wins, Loyola still has a shot to get in.

The #1 will be Wiscy. I think we’ve proven we can beat them. With that said, we need to beat Michigan first.

Think we need to win the 8/9 game and knock off Wiscy to have a shot. Would hope that would do it given the many close losses (no bad losses) we’ve had. Who knows.

XJ, minus the last possession was great, kids at least battle, but we just don’t have kids mentally tough enough to finish or knock down the big shots when we absolutely need them. Maybe we should have been running RP off that screen.
