I think the vacating was a result of the NCAA ruling that providing strippers for players was a recruiting advantage. How long did it go on? Did they get recruits after that started/ as a result? If it happened one season for current players only I could see your point. But I could also argue, these players should have known they were committing violations. I sat in many of compliance meetings and the do’s and dont’s are pretty clear. I mean you don’t have to sit in a compliance meeting anyway to realize that’s probably not a good idea. With that said, the NCAA is a joke, and yes way worse things have happened without punishment. But not sure I agree or not on Louisville without more info. And that info may be out there. I just haven’t seen it.

We play with that intensity every game, we won’t have bad losses. Won that game defensively…. and shot 2-15 from three.

I don’t think IU fans give a hoot who we recruit as long as we’re relevant and/or win. The best players combined with the best people is who I hope we recruit. No matter white, black, purple, green, yellow, etc. IF we’re only recruiting a certain color of kids bc of their color, that’s ridiculous. We’re beyond that nonsense.

Guess we’ll start hearing how PSU is a pretty good team now and that wasn’t a bad loss.

We don’t agree much (feel like that’s a common theme with you), but I think you’re spot on with this one. If we aren’t going to knock down outside shots, we needed to push it.

If that’s your solution, then why are you wasting your time on message boards. I hope like hell that nobody else around IU Basketball has anything remotely close to this attitude. No offense, but I’ll never stop expecting or wanting the best in anything I do.

But again, we’ve not played ANYBODY of stature…. so it’s very concerning. Outside of Wiscy, who isn’t very good this year and could easily find themselves on the bubble by the end of the year, who have we played that gives you confidence we can beat a decent team?

I know, we need to, just don’t have confidence in this team. I just don’t think we’re any better than last year. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Very frustrated.

I think part of the frustration is that THIS team has better pieces and should be better than year’s past. Couple that with CMW’s comment that he wasn’t coming in to rebuild, people are rightfully frustrated. We’ve lost three games now to less talented teams because we didn’t show up to play 40 minutes. If those losses were to MSU, OSU, or any of the top teams, then fine. But they’ve been to less talented teams bc we weren’t ready to play. CMW has been on the job for 9 months. That not long enough to gel or improve as a team beyond what we already had? Because we look no different than the last three years. With that said, I’m not off the CMW bandwagon, just don’t think from a “coaching” perspective he’s done well enough yet. Hopefully it changes soon, and it should because our schedule is weak compared to most years.

I’m sure OSU will show up Thurs, regardless of being on the road for them. Not expecting us to win that game either.

One game …. yes, but there aren’t many winnable Big10 road games. This was one that we should win, so you can’t piss them away. We’ve now pissed two Big10 road games away. Sure, it’s just one game (actually two now), but one game we’re likely going to be talking about at the end of the season when we fall just short of making the tourney again. Every SINGLE game counts. As far as importance, no kidding, for most of us it doesn’t rate high, but importance and caring are two separate things. Are the high important things in your life the only things you care about?

I don’t think Leal and Galloway should be completely left out. Both offer positive minutes the majority of time. But the key, and what we’re all saying, is that we don’t want wholesale changes. Mix the subs in with the starters depending on the game situation.

And based on the ability to use the transfer portal now.
