Last thing I’ll say, every person on that team should be beyond embarrassed by that 2nd half performance. And we don’t even get to see what they are made of after that debacle until Jan 2nd (no N Dame shouldn’t be a game). It’s embarrassing saying Jan 2nd is the next opportunity, but I don’t count on us being able to win at Penn St, so 🤷🏻‍♂️.

I need a break and for this team to give me a reason to believe. And I’m not talking about halves of basketball (2nd half against Cuse and the 1st half tonight). I’m talking results. And it’s no more evident that we’re closer to that than it was in the last 5 years under CAM. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hard for anybody else to have gagged when XJ was shooting it or throwing it away before anybody else touched it. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’ve been very anti-KL so far bc he’s shown his inexperience through stupid decisions, but that display by XJ tonight and Rob being completely lost, give me KL. At least he’s inexperienced so his mistakes are more understandable.

JOKE. Disappointed in CMW and TJD more than anything. That CMW allowed XJ to play out of control the entire second half and the fact TJD disappeared / misses so many layups or bunnies. Never been high on KL, but I was hollering for KL in the second half. Same old Indiana. Overreaction? 🤷🏻‍♂️ It’s not until you see results change and they aren’t changing yet. Same low IQ basketball we’ve gotten used to. Vent over. One other random thought / question. Why is it that other teams’ players can play almost all of games but our guys can’t? We were up 21-9 and had about 3-4 dead possessions after a TO and after stops. Every flipping possession counts and we gave a number of them away by who was on the floor.

Didn’t Trayce miss a wide open layup at the end of the first OT that would have won us the game? Or was that regulation, the one you’re referring to about getting fouled? I don’t remember there being a foul on the bunny he missed.

I could be completely wrong, and it really doesn’t matter anymore, but it looked like to me that KL didn’t know where to go. My guess / assumption is that Woody isn’t going to throw one guy under the bus, so it’s easier to say the “other guys” weren’t where they needed to be (although I’m betting a few of them were - no way all five guys were lost out of a TO) which caused the confusion. Him not playing at all last game makes me believe that he had multiple instances of being lost and CMW doesn’t feel he can trust him yet. Just my speculation.

Don’t agree with parts of his post, but there’s a reason he didn’t play in the Nebraska game. Do you know for sure that last play in the 1st OT wasn’t his fault? It’s the PG’s job to get guys in the right spots and run the offense. Not sure CMW was as pleased as you were with his time in that game. 🤷🏻‍♂️ He had some good and bad, the last play of the game was mind blowing stupid and shouldn’t be a situation where we say, “he’ll learn from it”. At that level, it should never happen.

If that’s the case, then people are going to get what they want and see a lot of KL.
