Anybody else feel like TJD is loafing today?

I think that was XJ, but regardless I think I said exactly what you said during the game thread.

My son was a bit bc he’s a good athlete (really good soccer and baseball player) and hates to lose. But unfortunately for him, our school is smaller than most (fewer kids) and he doesn’t have hardly any help. We have 6-7 kids (out of 10) who struggle to dribble decently. We have a few kids that prob didn’t know we lost, let alone that bad. 🤣

My son’s 4th grade team in the NKY Catholic league lost 62-4 last Sun. 😬 They stopped the scoreboard at 40, and only post it as a 25 point win, but it was actually 62-4. And that’s without pressing! Most of our team is completely lost on the floor!

Agree, and we should win by 15.

I agree, but new coach, new team, I’m willing to be optimistic at this point. If it happens again next Wed at Wiscy I won’t be as optimistic.

Yeah, I don’t know… looked like there was a lot of indecision on KL’s part, but you could be right. Props to the kid either way for being ready when called upon, since as others said, after sitting for the majority of the game. He HAS to be smarter than that on the last foul though. Unacceptable.

In the end we turned it over way too much and still almost won against a power 5 team in a tough venue. Being the first road test with a new team and new coach, I’m encouraged and thinking that we could be really good if we keep working.

Understand, but I thought Rob was phenomenal for us on D in the second half setting the tempo and really ran the floor as the PG helping us get back in the game.

He hit that big 3 at the end, but which other are you speaking of? I thought he was pretty poor. @KoB2011 never mind. You answered it while I was asking.

One shot by Lander solidifies that for you? He was poor at everything else. Didn’t get a shot at the end of the 1st OT bc of him and lost at the end of the second OT bc of an idiotic foul. Not even mentioning the ball that went through his hands.

Very disappointed in the first half. A decent first half and this game wouldn’t have been in question. With that said, I was very proud of the fight in the second half. They showed me that we would compete with most anybody if we take care of the ball. 25 turnovers is pathetic and unacceptable. If we can clean those up and find some defense we’ll be really tough. Looking forward to seeing how we respond at Wiscy next week. I know we have Neb first, but that shouldn’t be a question.

Wow, did you watch the IU @ Syracuse game? Same one I just watched? RP had a solid overall game. Lander was poor.

Why is XJ in the game and RP not back out there? That coincided with their run. CMW is better than that.
