  1. It’s a good one. Old Feed Mill restaurant is pretty good (a little overrated imo, but still good). There is another distillery that is in the outlet mall. Have a good variety that doesn’t taste like flavored medicine (fruit stuff), but my favorite of theirs is called Butter Cake. It’s like drinking a hard vanilla cupcake. Very dangerous lol.
  2. For sure! Very funny actor. Just seemed fitting with our shooting woes that this team has had for 4-5 years now.
  3. I love brining pork loins! Wife is big when I use molasses as the main additive (besides water, salt, and whiskey). I have a few recipes of my own that I will rotate back and forth on.
  4. Deal lol. I love brisket, which is what stinks about not being able to make it often. Same with seafood/fish, she can’t stand it so I hardly ever make it anymore because I’m the only one who eats it. Kiddos love anything I grill or smoke. My boys
  5. Grolsch Pilsner is really good, had that on the cruise ship. Other picture is of arguably my all time favorite drink, Coffee Moonshine from Ole Forge Distillery in Pigeon Forge, TN.
  6. I’m not a tequila fan, but recently learned I don’t like lower end tequilas. Nothing against ones that are consumed regularly, just not my type. When we went on our cruise, one of our excursions in Mexico had a tequila tasting and figured what the heck. Let’s just say I ended up purchasing a $300 bottle of tequilas lol. Sabor Azteca that was aged 18 years, and can not be purchased in Mexico. It was so good, I was blown away. Hardly any burn and no aftertaste that comes with drinking basic tequila. Highly recommend if you even vacation or do excursions in Mexico.
  7. Warmer weather means more grilling and smoking time. Need to give the grill and smoker a good scrubbing before heavily using it again. Really want to perfect smoking a brisket, but wifey is not a big fan of brisket so it’s hard to justify spending that much on one if she’s barely going to eat it. Can’t wait ti experiment with pork loins either. Made a spicy one that everyone loved last year, brining it with some jalapeños and it’s juice. Hoping to expand my knowledge of other meats this year. Need to get better at pork butts (It’s fine, but just feel I’m missing something), and I’ve never done chicken wings.
  8. Haven’t went through and read, but pet peeves: - Using your turn signal while driving - GET OUT of the left lane if you are not passing anyone. Left lane is not for cruising, especially during traffic. - Saying thank you when you hold the door open for someone. - Men, hold the door open for you ladies. Car door, restaurant door, etc.
  9. Oh, gotcha. Didn’t know if it was a reference to Miller taking Damezi over Henry.
  10. I hope people know that I don’t think JG is Hanner, just saying there is risk with projects or guys with a lot of potential that never pan out. I really like JG and hope he stays, just providing a different point of view for conversation sake.
  11. It’s crazy how fast they grow up. I mad the really bad mistake when my wife was pregnant with our first that as long as he doesn’t come out black then I’m good. Oh she got so mad and said to never make that comment again lol. (For the record, wasn’t a racist comment, just a joke about the baby being mine or not) Never again! Oldest loves playing sports so far. We get him into activities and then let him decide what he wants. He’s loves baseball (games start next Sunday), ice skating (before taking intro to hockey), and gymnastics. Will be doing soccer and basketball later this year. Want him to have options and he can decide. I might be pushing golf so I can start playing again lol. My son did bring it up on his own, so I think that will happen this summer
  12. I agree Leal would be most likely, but feel he was given a raw deal last year. I felt he was a better option than Stewart, and also played well when he was in. Hope he stays around and can find at least 5-7 minutes a game.
  13. You don’t want to go on and on about mutual funds? Lol. We are about to move our kids savings into the state sponsored 529 account, and then setting them up with some mutual funds (hopefully) on top of that. Unfortunately we got a late start to saving, with it mainly being my fault. My dad was a spender and I was never taught how to save, let alone the importance of it. We are working our way out of some debt while also upping our savings/retirements as well. Investing to me is fun regarding stocks, like I mentioned earlier. I try to diversify my stock portfolio, with some in pharmaceutical, green energy, and various others.
  14. Some have stated they hope it’s Leal, but I say heck no to that!
  15. I agree with you, but could also play devils advocate in the could JG be the new version of Hanner Perea? Insanely athletic and oozes talent, but never puts it together? I’m of the kind that no one should be forced off the team except for being bad for the team. I want to win as much as anyone, but forcing players out is not the way to do it IMO. I would rather keep JG over Dennis, but I do get the appeal. Just hope that if JG stays, he is working on his handles and perimeter defense. That’s what will hold him back from taking his game to a truly high level.
  16. Yeah, both have their pros and cons. I look at my stock portfolio as a side savings account to gamble with. I typically sell out of stuff once they start doing bad, but will stay in if I believe in their long term success. It’s my form of gambling to keep me away from the casinos lol. In no way do I have a gambling addiction, but prefer to stay away to lose money.
  17. There has been chatter that both (Dennis and IU) want this to happen, but will depend on someone leaving. Will be interesting to see if it opens up through TJD, JG, or someone being forced out.
  18. And that’s the bad part of being a Cardinals fans. We are truly spoiled, but we expect a little more from our organization. Main issue is with John Mozeliak and his consistent message every year after failing to go after top level free agents, “We believe in what we have internally.” Cardinals fans do have it good and we are spoiled, we just wish they would open the pocketbook more that is obviously there.
  19. It’s funny because Cards fans feel the same way. Front office wants to put together a team to barely make it into the playoffs, and just hopes the team will magically be better. Gets frustrating because the organization could pour a lot more money to get players, but always refuse.
  20. Yeah, the lines were so bad. I missed an entire quarter of the game waiting in line, and then they ran out of water at some point early in the 2nd half I believe because it was getting so hot. A lot of people cheered when a cloud would cover the sun, and it wasn’t cloudy at all lol. A1398793-42D8-40C5-B8F5-D808C33D7127.MOV
  21. Yeah, and the same with Doge for me a year or two ago as well. Would have made a lot of money just doing it but crypto has always made me nervous. Good for you on making that profit, and year it was right around then. Didn’t help that the customer was, let’s just say, not a favorite of the staffs because of how odd they were. Overall my portfolio is down about 14%. Even though I don’t indulge, I’ve gotten into some weed stocks recently hoping to get in now with legislation picking up. Unfortunately I got into AYR Wellness last year when all the experts said to get in now…… I got in at $24 a share, and it’s now at $9.10 a share. I just purchased a couple more, one being Green Thumb Industries. Hope listening to the experts pay off this time around.
  22. I think it’s fun to talk about our projections for next season in terms of results and lineups. It’s hard to predict but fun to talk about. Also, I think the off-topics are fun in the off-season, a better way to get to know each other. I have had the pleasure to meet posters in real life, especially @Naturalhoosier as we met up for the IU vs Cincy football game this last season. (Concession stands were a NIGHTMARE)
  23. It’s so volatile…. I’m still kicking myself because I was asked by one of my customers if he could get me to do Bitcoin when it was around $100 a share. Would have made so much money if I would have but the bullet then.
