  1. What’s up baseball fans? Most importantly though, Go Cardinals!
  2. Wow, totally missed that. I searched MLB before posting and nothing came up. You can delete this thread or combine it. Sorry about that. Should be count all the championships and then compare?
  3. Cardinal fan here (Cubs and Reds suck!), and just hate to see this
  4. I definitely struggle with patience, but nothing I love more than my family. Being a dad changed my life, and made me a better person and husband. Never cooked a day in my life (except grilling) until I had my first. Also do a lot more things around the house now. Not at the request of my wife, but because of the realization of having kids had on me to get stuff done.
  5. Found this guy through some highlights of America’s Got Talent. Guy has cerebral palsy and does a good job using that in his comedy.
  6. Love being a dad to these two, and love to be very goofy with me!
  7. I vote for this to be post of the day, hands down!!
  8. Wish Rob nothing but the best. After all he’s been through injury wise and struggling mentally, he battled through and gave it his all for this program. Hope he can help turn Cincy around this year and make a deep tourney run!
  9. Congrats to Coach Wright and to his success. He’s always been my top coaching preference since before Crean took over. Ran a great program and knew how to get the most out of his team.
  10. Got back into investing recently, but not a great time to get in with how a lot of things have trended this year. Best stock I have right now is Mirum Pharmaceuticals (MIRM). I got in on them at $15.795 a share, and they are now at $26.23. I’m kicking myself for not going more in on them as I only have 6 shares. Just wish my other stocks would perform better as I’m down quite a bit overall. Does anyone do Crypto? I bit the bullet and bought over 400 shares of DogeCoin. Basically even at this point, but need Elon Musk to tweet more often about Doge lol.
  11. Fair enough lol. That strip mall of businesses where we met at to eat is about to be torn down in the next year or so. I work right across the street from there now.
  12. Since I kicked you out of St. Louis years ago you really need to change your name! 😁
  13. That’s always the hard part when good news is the trend with recruits, and pair that with how we played better at the end of the season, it’s very easy to get excited. My only concern is the shooting and all-sub lineups for next season. I think we will be deeper if TJD comes back, but I hate the all sub-lineups and hurt us more times than not. I think Tamar and JG was hurt by playing in the all sub lineups because they had to be guys trying to do too much, instead of flowing within the team.
  14. Love this lol! Dude has bothered IU for too long (not as much as Davidson and Bohannon in terms of years). I can’t stand the Illini after growing up in Illini territory, so I won’t mind if they have a down year! IU’s path towards the top of the Big10 has gotten easier with this decision IMO.
  15. I’ve been testing out touching/grabbing/petting the tail a couple times a day just to get his reaction. Nothing to the level a kid may do of course, but there have been no reactions what so ever. He’s still a little uneasy with the kids from a loudness/cuddling aspect, but he’s pretty good with them. Korean Jindo’ are an interesting breed. Been a different journey to some degree than my dogs in the past.
  16. To add to what you said, I think one factor that most don’t give a lot of thought too is the majority of the team being back for continuity. Year 1 under a new system that was completely different from the year before can be difficult. Now that there is a year under the belt and many back, I think that will be a huge help. If TJD comes back, CMW found ways to better utilize him which will only help next season as well. It won’t happen, but would be interested to see a zone defense anchored by TJD, Race, and JG. I’m not saying to use a zone with how good our defense was, but would be curious to see how that would go with how much athleticism and rebounding those 3 provide.
  17. Trying to get rid of the gut. Not overweight by any means, but need to lose about 20lbs. I’m 6’2 and 230lbs. Hard part is working full time, family that include 2 boys 5 and under, church obligations, and then a couple work events in the evening a month. Trying to do better than just 1 workout/run a week. I started taking an all natural supplement to help that I really liked, PhenQ Ultra. Once I ran out of that I tried Instant Knockout. For me, PhenQ was better because I never had any side effects, like nausea or upset stomach. Helped curb my cravings and targeting fat. Need to exercise and eat right for it to work it’s best, but helps limit my intake by not making me as hungry without the annoying side effects. Always been a runner and would like to try and run a half-marathon by October. 35 years of age so plenty of time still left to do it every year hopefully.
  18. While of course a lot depends on TJD, but I like this team to be a consistent presence in the Top25 next season. This team really found its groove towards the end of last season with X. Of course it would help our standing if TJD returns, but this team really needs to make its shots. I know, shocking. Missed a ton of open 3’s and shots within 5 feet. Make a few more of those a game and we win 5 or 6 more games easily.
  19. We have 3 cats and just recently bought a puppy. He is a Korean Jindo and everything seems to be going well so far. We’ve had him for about a month and he’s almost 5 months. Other than a few kennel training mishaps (came home to blood everywhere from him biting on the kennel), it’s been pretty good. He doesn’t play well with the cats, but we are getting them better accustomed to each other. Name is Kylo (Star Wars nerd in the house!)
  20. Really like Supernatural (still need to watch the last season), Bones, Hawaii Five-O (recent version), Last Man Standing, and I’ve started watching NCIS: New Orleans. Really like the show so far and halfway through season 3. For the nerd in me, I am also a few seasons into Star Wars: Clone Wars. Also love The Mandalorian, and haven’t started The Book of Boba Fett yet. With kiddos, church, and other activities, I’m lucky to get one show in a night.
  21. Southern Illinois has some good places to visit (from that area), and live in St. Louis. The Hill is a fun historic place to go eat some really good Italian food. My favorite is Anthonino’s Taverna (spelling might be off), amazing steak spiedini dish! One of my favorite vacation spots is Gatlinburg, TN. Love that area and all the trails it offers. Very good moonshine distilleries, with Old Forge being my favorite being the Old Mill restaurant. Make an amazing coffee moonshine. Wife and I just went on our first ever cruise last month through Royal Caribbean, and we LOVED it. Did a 5 night western Caribbean cruise and can’t wait to go back. Love all the stuff on the ship and our ports. Highly recommend doing a cruise!
  22. I will be curious to see how much we hear with no available scholarships right now. Maybe hear some stuff, but if no one transfers, might be a long waiting game until TJD decides on his future.
  23. Definitely new to these parts. Long time lurker, first time poster 😉
  24. Congrats Tamar. Being a dad changed my life in so many ways for the better.
  25. Love this commitment and I think this is a sign of things to come. Helps establish good pipelines with prep schools, but also lets everyone know nationally that IU can recruit again. Welcome aboard Malik, thrilled to have you as a Hoosier!
