Having a lot of walk-off home runs is a sign of greatness.

6 players had 12 walk-off home runs each during their career.

    • B. Ruth
    • F. Robinson
    • S. Musial
    • M. Mantle
    • J. Foxx
    • A. Pujols

But, they don't have the record.  What Hall-Of-Famer has the record with 13 walk-off dingers?

I'll add a hint with each incorrect answer.

    Ken Griffey Jr.?

Did I say we’d do better in the East? I was laughing at your first of 2 reasons why the B1G wants IU to fail.

    I'm not wrong.

Traditionally the IU football program Is the worst in D1 history.

I've met and been around RMK quite a bit. Attended his basketball camps, met him on multiple occasions.  I even have the 1992 final 4 game ball autographed by him, the team and coaches.

But you wouldn't know about FF4s because last time PU got there was 1980.

Anyway, there was a concerted effort by the Big10 as it was known back then, and IU to get rid of RMK.

Probably when you were in grades school?

Anyway, Miles Brand destroyed IU basketball, and well, pretty much everything but the soccer program.

I think they roll PSU next week. They look like the best in the B1G

There is no way Iowa isn't in the CFP. Right now.

Defense wins championships and right now I think they could win it.

One of the very few other B1G teams I support. They are consistent, and their stadium is across the street from a children's hospital, and one of their traditions is to wave to the kids.

After this week, we're going to have 6 top 15 teams on the schedule. Ridiculously tough schedule this year.

A part of me thinks they put IU in the east because they want us to fail. Geographically Purdue could easily fit in the east because they suck. Even Northwestern sucks, but I respect the job Pat Fitzgerald has done.

I think the B1G wants IU to fail for 2 reasons,

#1 our success in alot of other sports other than basketball, like soccer and golf, oh don't forget the swimming team. Remember multiple gold medal winner Mark Spitz. Yes I know my IU history.

#2 Their hatred of Bobby Knight.

It’s a word that Michael Meyers allegedly scrawled onto an abandoned school chalkboard. Which of course, the Doctor and his sister go into after him. Can’t remember much else about it, but it wasn’t a major plot point.

John Carpenter was no tard. He was a master of subtleties and fear.

Michael Myers is Halloween but with a surprisingly low body count.

I don't like bringing politics or religion to these boards, or social media in general.  But I believe with every fiber of my being, that we all have a time to die.  You can be fully vaccinated,  sitting inside a tank, surrounded by personal protection.  When your number is called,  that's it.  The bible says, god knows when we will die before we are even born.

Im not a bible thumper nor do I preach to anyone.  But the current events certainly bring back the things my grandmother tried so hard to beat in my head.

When it comes to the bible I was taught the same way as you describe.  If it's your time it is what it is. I was also taught to fight and never give up.

Jesus once said sell your cloak and get a sword.

Well my sword is on backorder but can buy another one whenever I want.

83,000 Healthcare workers in New York are possibly going to lose their jobs... these numbers are astronomical across the country.  Why so many people who have stared this thing in the face, still refuse to take the shot?  It's obviously not that simple, its obviously not that safe. Dr's and nurses making 6+ figures a year are walking away. The mandates make less sense as the days go by, and more information comes out.  I'm just a dummy sales guy, but when I see that many professionals walking away from something,  It makes me question things. Whole lot of why's...   thankfully I don't personally know anyone who has died because of covid. I know people who were on their death bed, who had covid when they passed.  I  know 3 local people personally that had strokes after taking the vaccine. 2 of which are still with us, the other 46 yr old gal with 3 kids is not.

I work in the microbiology lab for the 2nd largest contract pharmaceutical company in the world. I haven't taken the vaccine. Alot of others haven't either.

Have alot of coworkers who have taken it and had adverse reactions and refuse to take the boosters.

I am interested in monoclonal antibody injections and oral anti virals.

I'm not anti vax but I've had this crap and survived and so has my wife.

My BIL went into icu just a few days after getting the vaccine my sister unvaccinated.

They both got covid. She recovered in less than a week, he died after 36 days in icu. Nothing makes sense.

Oh...I know. I have several in a couple different calibers. The assault is perputrated by the person committing a crime...not by the item they do it with. It's a big scary gun...but it isn't even close when it comes to how many assaults are committed by this particular style gun then a handgun. I just didn't want to drag that into this forum....I know we have another for it.

If people think so called "Assault rifles" are scary, well, some of us own things that would make them crap their pants.

And if they think we will willingly give them up, they got another thing comin. Not gonna happen.
