    Don’t tempt me. 😂

I have been known to wet sand molding to get rid of small paint ridges. Nothing insane….just 400-800 grit. Going all the way to 3200 grit would just be obsessive…….I save that for actual furniture, not trim. :coffee:

If you saw my house right now you would shoot yourself.  It's under "construction" .

For every project I finish I have 3 more say hello.

Thank God I have the time and money to fix it all.

It's been a hell of a year and the last 3 months have slowed me down because of my physical condition.

Almost forgot…there was (of course) an outlet on that wall right where the 2nd vertical piece of molding is. So I could either interrupt my molding run, or….

    3FB9F8BC-8FE0-46E4-B972-15A0BB3AD56D.jpeg

….get creative. I relocated the outlet about a foot to the left, and have a box extender running through the back of the storage box, so that the outlet is mounted directly into the back. And then this little beauty is flush mounted into the side and plugs in to said outlet. It’s actually one meant to be mounted flush into a desk/conference table, but serves this purpose just fine.

Edit: And yes, on the top corner of the hole for the power strip, I took about a 1/4” too much off with the router. But if anyone ever has their head on my floor and wedged into the 20 inch space between this box and my closet door…..they’ve got more issues than me.

It's driving me nuts. Fix it.

Just kidding, looks pretty damn good.  I like it.

  3. What people need to understand about China right now and their motivations. This intelligence comes from multiple sources.

Everyone thinks WW2 started with Pearl Habor. WRONG!  The Japanese invaded China in 1937.  2 years before Germany invaded Poland. What the Japanese did to the Chinese people would make you sick.

The Chinese occupied Vietnam for 1000 years. Until the Japanese crushed China in 1937.

Just look at what China did to Hong Kong after the Brits handed the colony over in 1999.

Look at what China is doing to Taiwan. The NLF escaped to Taiwan to form a democratic government in 1949 after Mao Zedong established the CCP in China.  China had been trying to take over Taiwan since the true government of China escaped.

The CCP needs to be disposed of. China is T-bagging the world right now.

China wants to rule the world.

So now, it's not enough that corporations are, at the behest of the government, strong arming employees by mandating vaccines, but if you even dare to voice your opinion like Sage Steele did, you face a suspension...

While I know all too well that this in no way falls under protected speech in the Constitution, I think it's despicable for ESPN to threaten someone's livelihood over their opinion...

    Where does this end?

Since the most likely unconstitutional mandate by executive order was announced, I expect when I check my emails when I go in on Friday that I will be required to get it or lose my job.

Instead, as of now, there will be a drawing for vaccinated employees.  15 cash prizes. 1-$10'000, 2-$5000, and 12- $1000 prizes.

Seems like trying to incentivize voluntary vaccination.

I'm starting to think they won't require it. This is a pharmaceutical company. Think about that and who in .government is exempt.

I can only imagine how expensive getting a program off the ground would be but honestly I think it would sell down there. The community would support it too...but the STUDENTS would LOVE it! Give many of them a reason to stay on campus all weekend long instead of going home all the time. They are flush with cash given all the building they've been doing lately. I'd love to see it!

I know they were discussing a football program when I was there and the interest level was very high.

Yeah i wish more people would turkey hunt, they are getting pretty thick like you said. I see some just about every day.

I think they should allow bow hunters to take them during bow season.

Not saying it happened but I know a guy that may have or may not have done this on private property a few times in the past.

Your stepdad is awesome and I know that for a fact!

He gave me a treasure map.

My grandpa, his dad, rustin and my dad, too.

I know where everything is buried.

I save my own money but I will be retired by 46. Just saying.

Wow! Didn’t realize that! That’s kind of crazy. They are highly adaptive but wouldn’t have guessed the habitat would suit them.

They tacked one back to Missouri and 1 from Kentucky.  It seems conservations efforts and population growth in Kentucky are pushing them back to Indiana.

The most successful reintroduction around here is wild turkeys. 20 years ago you would be lucky to see them. Now they are a couple dozen that roost on our 40 acre farm. See them everywhere anymore.

Also, rabbits were almost hunted out so the put bag limits on them. I see at least 6 I'm my every morning I leave for work. My mouth waters thinking about eating them but I don't want to get divorced and live like @5fouls paying all that alimony.

You could easily get lost back there if you get too far off the main streams etc. yeah so far this year I’ve had a black bear, a Florida panther, and a bobcat in my backyard. Bears don’t worry me but that panther was much bigger than I guess I realized. Never trusted cats as it is….definitely don’t trust one big enough to eat me lol.

Black bears are showing up in Southern Indiana now. Several sighting in the southwest park. A couple in daviess Knox Martin recently.

I wouldn’t say I’m scared of them but definitely have a healthy respect for them. Of course where I live feeding them is illegal and highly frowned upon. Last thing you want is them associating people walking down to the shoreline and food lol. I really enjoy them honestly…they get a pretty bad rap…but certainly probably like where you were you wouldn’t want to get caught out in the Everglades. Why the whole Brian Laundrie hiding out in that flooded park is rediculous. He wouldn’t last 3 days between the gators and the mosquitoes.

I would go on morning runs and one day I came back and my boss asked what I was doing. I said trail running. He asked if I seen any bears, I was like WTF?  Sure enough, Louisiana has black bears.

Also, been to the everglades. People canoe in and camp out there. Those people are insane.

We watched 1 and 2 last night. Prepping for it

October is horror movie month for us. I'm with you, Halloween and Michael Meyers is #1. If I recall you mentioned liking the Conjuring movies?  We do too. Patrick Wilson hitched his wagon to that genre. Not a bad actor.

My wife likes the Insidious series but I just can't do it. I see that old lady as the landlord from Kingpin and well...

Most people that have been down here for awhile appreciate them and actually enjoy having them here and of course have a healthy respect for them. Like you said even name the big ones. Between them and the Bears are used to living in and around wildlife even if they are in the city. Only become a nuisance when they do travel as water holes dry up or Bears get a little to brave on trash day.

I guess I'm just nuts. Had a summer job in college and spent 3 months in Louisiana.  The better part of it in the Acadia bayou region. Alligators didn't scare me a bit. Actually chummed a 6 footer up to a dock at a state park we stayed at. Spent the evening feeding it pork chops.

Had the chance to wrestle some some small ones.

Best part was eating them. Alligator file gumbo, and fried Alligator tail.

    $$$$

    Christmas present.

My step-dad either gives me cash or a new gun every year.

Last year it was $2600 worth of silver quarters.

This dude rolls around with $$$$ in the console of his truck. One time when I was doing laundry in high school I found $5,000 in his jean pocket.

I'm not sure what your arguing about. Who cares which team is in the East or West. Both team's football programs are sorry traditionally and right now too. Being in the East offers us more chances for upsets and big wins in highly televised games. Michigan, OSU, Penn St...even Michigan St are the cream of the crop and offer HUGE visability for recruiting. It isn't even close that the East offers the best visibility in recruiting and geographical footprint putting your team in tv markets from NY to Michigan. If you want to strengthen your program do you want to tell kids you play those group of teams every year or what is on the other side. Kids want to play against the best competition with the most visability and the East offers that for us that Purdue doesn't get. If anything it was a compliment to us and the strength of our brand if we can ever get this thing off the ground here.

I also don't get why we rag on how much Brohm is making....it isn't like with Allen's new contract IU is getting a great return on the dollar right now either. If we are going to constantly measure ourself vs the standard of Purdue then we are going to have a sorry program. Let's go win some games and move this program up and make this East/West arguement moot.

I'm not sure either. Just finished 3 12 hrs shifts. Wasn't able to sleep Friday or Saturday night so I was extremely tired and delirious. Didn't wake up until 2pm today.

Didn't know where to post this, so I dug up and older thread (as a bonus a @milehiiu posts)...

I love Mexican food...Found 2 things recently at Walmart (😮) that I really liked and thought I would share...

First an excellent dipping sauce to tortilla chips...

    Diablo.PNG.588b25d2f5836abbbce3d523a3172ff4.PNG

Really good green sauce for chip dipping...They also have mild and medium...

And then my favorite soup of all time Pozole De Pollo...

    Pozole.PNG.118e4641bc38cc0ef95a961ef4f71ac4.PNG

With the cooler weather coming up, it'll warm you up...

Not sure they stock either one in Indiana, but if you run across either, give them a try...

Amazon has the pork pazole.  And tripe.
