Across 32 different locations, the median infection fatality rate was 0.27% (corrected 0.24%). Most studies were done in pandemic epicenters with high death tolls. Median corrected IFR was 0.10% in locations with COVID-19 population mortality rate less than the global average (<73 deaths per million as of July 12, 2020), 0.27% in locations with 73-500 COVID-19 deaths per million, and 0.90% in locations exceeding 500 COVID-19 deaths per million.
If you open the pdf and scroll to the bottom the data is in table form.

Side note. Had a federal court hearing today, in person, everyone wearing masks. Truly surreal. And lots of "please talk directly into the microphone" lol.
Talking to people with their mask on feels like I'm trying to order from the drive thru.

One of the things that have me skeptical about effectiveness is how vaccines are designed to work. They trick the immune system into producing antibodies specific to the virus. As of now, I thought the current knowledge is antibodies for covid lose their effectiveness rather quickly. I can't seeing a vaccine being much more effective than the seasonal flu shot. It will take a multi faceted approach which why studying these existing medications is so important.

I would definitely say yes, and quite frankly do not understand why someone would say no.

I will not be getting one. I am in the age demographic that is low risk. And I do a supplement stack that addresses immune health as well as heart and joint health.

Paris (AFP) - An aerosol-based drug treatment could drastically reduce the number of new coronavirus patients dying from the disease or requiring intensive care, according to preliminary results released Monday by a British biotech firm.
In a randomised trial of 100 patients admitted to hospital with COVID-19, those who received an inhaled formula of the protein interferon beta were at 79 percent lower risk of developing severe disease compared to those who received a placebo.
They were also more than twice as likely to make a full recovery compared with the control group.
The firm behind the treatment, known as SNG001, said the preliminary results suggested "a major breakthrough" in the pandemic. -

I see you are a reader of Israel news publications just like me!
I think it's good to get some perspective from other national media sources. They dont pull as many punches.

FDA approved TRICOR could reduce covid to no more than common cold
If you wonder how I found the second source I just clicked on the hyperlink in the yahoo article.
Hopefully big money vaccine pushers don't squash potential cheap alternatives.

In 8th grade I broke both bones in my left arm just above the wrist in my first football practice after my first game. To lose a season you can never get back sucks. Feel bad if the high school kids dont get sports.

Thanks. I gave them a little water and it started coming out bottom of pot pretty quickly so I'm going to hold off. We just started getting cloud cover in last hour and the leaves are actually starting to perk up a tad. Maybe as you said just July/August heat and it just happens. Thanks!
I would just continue to give them fertilizer and take care of them best you can.
I have a Cherokee purple plant, big beefy heirloom, with 6 on the plant and it's starting to get yellow at the bottom.
Need my stuff to get ripe though, in getting hungry.

Ok gang...I've entered the danger zone of uncertainty. It's been hot/humid,etc....here in Hoosierville. I keep reading that tomato leaves wilt/droop because of excess water or not enough. I'm doing the finger test and feels dry underneath but I've been watering almost daily. My patio faces south so they get sun/heat from around 7am until roughly 4 each day. Maybe the causing the leaves to wilt? Tomatoes still look fresh and just today I have 2 starting to hint of turning reddish color on bottom. Just curious what others thought.
I asked the same question to a guy at the farmers market that has a booth there. His answer was basically, its Indiana so come July or August just expect it to happen. I just pick them off when dead.
Probably just old or nutrient deficient as the plant produces fruit. I've done everything, even soil testing to find right fertilizer mix and it's always happens to mine.

Columbus is a bit too far for me to get pizza but have bought 450 North beer from Big Red in Bedford. Really good.

I tried to read "Mein Kampf" years ago, but it's just not a very readable book. It was apparent early in the book the guy had a screw loose.
A better insight was William Shirer's "Rise and Fall of the Third Reich." Very meticulous documentation of the Nazi rise after WWI. Shirer's bias shows through at times, but he WAS there during Hitler's rise to power and is very thorough in his research. I even read all of the footnotes (and there are a lot of them). Fascinating book...
Hitler was a vagabond and very lazy. Terrible artist. Didnt believe he had to work.
I read Shirers book. Tedious at times but very informative.

I honestly do not care about the number of cases. It's a useless metric. Hospitalizations and deaths are more useful.
And I also dont understand why people dismiss the idea there are likely millions of positive people that never got tested. Even the CDC says so. If hospitals are getting overwhelmed then where are the field hospitals like we had in March? There is a bit of an uptick it deaths but it's mostly leveled off.
This graph, one is not like the others. Seems fishy to me.

One thing to take into consideration with all these positive cases is covid can remain at detectable levels in the respiratory tract up to 3 months according to the CDC.
