I’m sure some of these guys are looking at the success and increased role Al Durham had at Providence and want some of that too. I don’t blame any of them. If Al would have stayed at IU he definitely would have helped and likely counted on a little more. Lord knows the troubles had this year with injuries. At the end of the day, certain players wanting to transfer from IU see the writing on the wall. With next year’s highly anticipated incoming freshmen class and Woodson’s interest in a few new portal transfers, it likely means more sitting the bench or not enough desired minutes. Any other players wanting to move on (not transfer) most likely have NBA aspersions. JMHO…🧐🤓

DD is part of IU history, but IMHO, ……he doesn’t fit into the “rich” part or better yet, “the respect and honored”. Yeeesssss, we all know that he definitely, shut Michael Jordan down in ONE game! We all know what would have happened to DD 9 out of 10 more times vs. Jordan…..😂

If Woody did, in fact tell people not to come on his show, good for him! Coach Woodson is going to protect any former coach or player who were blessed to be a part of IU’s rich history. He knows DD is a drama Queen, tool who’s only interested in himself and boosting his ratings at all costs!

It just blows my mind why so many IU fans,….very loyal and proud fans, continue to be sucked into DD’s latest IU rants. He’s just a first class ass. As far as I’m concerned, he’s “pi$$ed in one to many former IU coaches and player’s cherrios” and doesn’t blink an eye. Talk about IU eating their own, he’s the poster boy for that!

I’m sure…..In his early IU years he wasn’t a fan because it appeared too flashy and show offy’….🤓

You can only imagine how Coach Knight would feel about this if the NIL thing happened when he was still coaching…. Heck, I remember on his early years of coaching, he frowned on his players dunking the ball and was against adding the 3 pt shot to the game.

That’s exactly where I’m at with this 0708! I feel we finally have head coach that’s not concerned about hurt feelings and is willing to make tough decisions when it gets in the way of making IU Basketball better.

All I can say about this is, WOW! If Dane did, in fact, say and do all these things, he had to go. That really pains me to read this about him.

At the end of the day, like it or not, Coach Woodson is the head coach at IU and he knows what he wants and how things need to look and feel. If Dolson pushed for the Fife hire or not, he obviously didn’t get in Woodson’s way with his departure. Though this Fife departure seems a bit shocking, I trust Woodson and his decisions.

Very impressive team! Coach Moren is in her 8th year at IU and the last four has taken them to the NCAA tournament. The last two years to he Sweet 16.

I would ask, “Is Illinois tired too?” Why are some of these BIGTEN teams looking so bad in the tournament?
