  1. This was bound to happen, especially players recruited by and built relationships with former position coaches at IU. I just hope there won't be anymore, but time will tell. This could have been a bigger issue if Dasan McCullough and his brothers decided to jump ship, but with them deciding to stay at IU also tells you there love for this university. Obviously IU Football, Coach Allen and new RB coach, Craig Johnson weren't enough to keep him here.
  2. Also….the way IU is playing, including a healthier Makenzie Holmes, I wouldn’t want to play IU if I were any of the remaining 3 in the BTT. IU may want get some revenge on recent losses.
  3. Man, IU women sure are fun to watch! It’s also nice do see Makenzie Holmes back from injury. They finally seem to be clicking especially in the BTT. Next up, Ohio St. in the semi finals…..
  4. Huge, would be Ivey along with several other starters sitting out this game for breaking curfew rules last night....lol😆
  5. ....expecting the obvious, hoping to be overlooked,....highly unlikely.
  6. ...There will definitely be traces of "buckeye sweat" on X's right forearm......🤢🤣
  7. IMHO, if DD was smarter and knows so much, why isn’t he still coaching?🧐
  8. Making sure you add “lol “ at the end of a text or post is the difference between being sarcastic or pi$$ng someone off….😳🤣
  9. I totally agree and second that. DD wants to get a rise out of people and doesn't care who he steps on. I guarantee Woodson and Co. are fully aware that their hands are somewhat tied right now with both injuries and players not meeting expectations. You can see the disappointment and frustration when the camera zooms in on Woodson after a turn over, multiple missed free throws or a blown assignment. He just has to continue to use what he has until he eventually gets want he wants.....
  10. This is what IMHO, most of the down trodden, fun sucker, knee jerk reaction, "Woodson isn't getting the job done in YEAR ONE" posters aren't taking into consideration. Woodson and Co. have a pretty impressive class of 3 players coming in next year. Quite frankly, IMO, guards (5*)Jalen Hood-Schifino and (3*) C.J. Gunn, and(4*) forward Kaleb Banks are most likely going to compete for someone's playing time next year, if not starting in some compacity.
  11. Very well said. Short, sweet and to the point.
  12. This one,...... only if a hand full don't post....😐
  13. Bottom line,......wide open shots gotta' go through the net. We had way too many wide open shots from behind the arch and easy bunnies down around the basket. Those bunnies just clanked off the backboard and rim. You and I both agree,......Coach draws up the plays that put them in position to score, it's then up the the players to finish the deal! I don't know how much more obvious this is.
  14. ….this one and a handful of others too.
  15. It’s the dumbest post of the night and totally ridiculous! I just think he is trying to get a rise out of everyone….
  16. I highlighted the best line of the night from this post. Coach got the players in position for open shots, the players HAVE TO make shots, period. We had too many missed lay ups, bunnies and careless turnovers in crucial times of the game.
  17. Your a disgrace for you comments!!
  18. Without question! Who do we currently have on the roster right now, including incoming freshmen, that can come close to beating Race out at his position? NO ONE! Race is a banger and is not afraid to mix it up with anyone.
  19. I don't like offensive people.....they make me sad. 😌
  20. Well said....Also, we need to give Minnesota credit too. They did everything they had to do to cut into that deficit. I know exactly why Coach Woodson was mad at Rob for taking that last, quick 3. We were up 25+ and didn't need 3's, especially that early, with that much time on the possession clock. We needed to slow the game down and look for the best high percentage shot available, deep into the possession. It takes one quick outlet pass, after a missed 3, for an open 3 on the other end to build confidence. The game flipped momentum immediately after Rob's missed 3. I loved that he didn't call time out during Minnesota's run. That's exactly what coach Knight would have done. Coach Woodson wanted his players to fight through and figure it out. Again, Woodson showed confidence in his players that they could weather the storm. It also let the players know he had faith in them.
  21. .....Now that makes way more sense!
  22. My son in-law texted me last night and was questioning why Woodson was using the bench so much. I told him,....MHO was that he's gonna need his bench down the stretch and the Maryland game was a great opportunity to do that.
