  1. I thought the same thing…..It looked like a slow motion, walk through, pre game drills. I looked at all the people in the stands and thought, “ how boring for them!”
  2. Win this game and we get into the top 25.
  3. I have been thinking about this for some time now…. I know Trayce will play in the NBA, the question is when. Dale Davis was one of my favorite players for the Pacers besides the obvious, Reggie Miller! I loved how Dale handled himself. He wasn’t flashy,…. but he, along with Antonio Davis were a force down low back in the day. Trayce is 6’ 9” and 245 lbs. He HAS to continue to get bigger and stronger to play meaningful minutes in the NBA. His dad, Dale was 6’ 11” and 252 lbs at his peak with the Pacers. Look at Dale, just 2” taller and only 7 lbs heavier than Trayce. Big Fella swatting Shaq.
  4. If Miller’s gonna play meaningful minutes like he does….He had O points and didn’t even take a shot! He HAS to score some points, better yet hit 3s….
  5. IMO….. tale of the tape- - defense let us down, allowing for 10 made Illini 3’s…. - TJD getting in early foul trouble…. - (Gulp, this is the only time I will ever compliment Kofi)……He did anything and everything he wanted to do against Trayce. -because of Kofi, Trayce was non-existent down low nor was he a able to dish the ball out to open wings behind the 3pt line.
  6. Woodson just said on his post game interview with Don, “That’s what a 5th year, seasoned veteran can do for a team. Unless Trayce becomes a monster from here on out and dominates his position…..he’s not ready for the NBA next year.
  7. I still trust the Coach Allen has his ducks in a row on this one. If McCullough actually, was not seeing eye to eye with Coach Allen on certain things, then he needs to go. I’m just guessing, no inside info. Yes he has some talented sons that could make immediate impact at IU, he’s not the head coach nor is he bigger than IU.
  8. I’m sorry, but coaches that continue to hop from job to job like this really pi$$wz me off! When does the loyalty, longevity and pride in a program ever stick. Good grief!
  9. I agree with half of your post….the other half, nope. Good coaches find other good coaches to be successful because you have built trust, respect and a genuine friendship. Top talent/top players and top coaches don’t always equal a successful team. I’m not saying my opinion is gospel, I just know from personal experience. After coaching girls basketball, softball, including Travel and Strictly Showcase Tourneys,…you want your coaches to be your friend, guys you can talk to and trust. These coaching relationships permeate through to the players. That makes a huge difference. I did for me, my coaches and players.
  10. Far from it now….. only when it was Lou “ the Du” Henson vs. Coach Knight. He and Coach Knight didn’t always see eye to eye. I specifically remember Coach Henson calling out Coach Knight on and of for being rude and a bully…😆
  11. Yes….. he is part of the “fabric” of IU basketball history. I always loved his pronunciation of….“soph-o-more!”
  12. I hate to give Purdue props, but Ivey’s shot shot was nothing but net. I just can’t believe he was that wide open….
  13. We need to get some info on this to see if it has legs or not. I did see that ND just hired this coach four days ago. Maybe this was where the rumors originally started…
  14. I sure hope this is not true…but, if IU wants to walk the walk the have to TALK THE TALK! Find a way to keep him and pay him…
  15. Didn’t know where to put this…I saw this posted on theHoosier.com football message board this morning. I sure hope it doesn’t have any legs!!
  16. Easy….I don’t know about the Adidas bb shoes, but IMHO Adidas tennis/running shoes are way more comfortable than Nike… These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. I love ‘em..lol Now only if Adidas could see this pitch and send me a free pair!🤓
  17. I would assume we will see Rob in a boot for a bit....?
  18. Wow… 8 minutes left and Hunter Dikinson has 4 fouls….
  19. I love how Pat McAfee is really pressing for Rodgers to come to the Colts.....
  20. I applaud Coach Allen calling the plays. He eats, sleeps and breathes defense. This is his bread and butter. He is an excellent, proven defensive play caller. IMHO, we will see an instant improvement, not only with the new coaches on defense, but decision making. I love it!
  21. ....I'm thinking the same thing. We sort of expected Rivers back last year too....so, who knows.
