Hint, if you are a Thanksgiving Football fanatic, you probably saw it too!

Remember this game, and not sure how the rules of OT have changed but back in the day it was sudden death with kickoffs. What player scored probably the quickest NFL OT win in history with the First OT kickoff return touchdown?

Hah told you I needed to step up my game with questions, you all are to good! His name was Tommy and his other teammate was Chester.

84 Tigers is the right team! Now just name the starting 3rd baseman. By the way my second most favorite player on the team. I became a fan of his when he played for the White Sox. I did grow up in the region after all! Name him!
My player was actually not a starter in 84, but was several years prior, he filled in at catcher in 85.

Honestly I got nothing. My first intro to Tigers was when Cubs should have played them in 84. Lou/Alan/Morris/Chet/Kirk/Parrish and of course Willie.

Sorry. Was doing the daily cleaning. No accolades means it had to be plenty of stars. Maybe a Yankees or Dodgers team. Maybe A's?? I got nothing on this one.
First hint, I used to live in Michigan
That ought to pretty much give it away!

World series winning infielder, who proved his utility for not just playing 3rd, but also Short, First and without prior experience filled in at Catcher. Hint of no help, one of my two favorite players on a WS winning team that pretty much got no accolades because of the other players on the team.
Finish that one in twenty minutes!😝

Lenny Dawson one of my all time favorites was selected in the first round, but you did better than I would have!

5 NFL Hall of Fame Quarterbacks selected beyond the first 8 rounds. I may be old but I remember watching all of them on TV. Try naming 3, bonus points if you get the one who was not selected but a free agent!
And no I did not know the answers, I only thought of the question!

Haven't been keeping a close watch on this thread, so I may be out of line.
Wasn't sure I was going to post this! But here are some personal thoughts. Keep in mind I currently have about 3 million dollars of tooling being built in China, in spite of the 25% tariff they are still the better choice both from quality and cost!(Keep that in mind)
The only time I have been in China, about 18 years ago, I took 8 Chinese Language bibles with me, in hopes of spreading the good word. Never felt there was a comfortable place to leave with someone! Finally, as I was checking out of the hotel the last day I decided to leave two bibles on top of the wardrobe. I was not allowed to leave until the room had been inspected! Needless to say I didn't leave until I accepted the bibles back! Left two bibles under the seat of the Taxi driver taking me to the airport! I pray the Taxi driver did not suffer for it!
The girl who reports on Monday weekly progress reports, and does an excellent job of it, lives in Wuhan! I have expressed my concerns for her and those she cares for, and her response was equal to mine!
This world is complicated, and if you think you have the answers, then you are clearly ignorant!
No offense!

Yeah, but the closest Lohaus ever got to the paint was when he passed by a Sherwin-Williams store...
But my guy Laimbeer!
Then-head coach Chuck Daly utilized Laimbeer's inside-outside skills to great effect. On the defensive end, Laimbeer was one of the best rebounders in the game. On the offensive end, Daly would often have Laimbeer fade to the perimeter rather than roll to the basket, which had the additional effect of keeping the opposing team's best rebounder far from the backboard.

I haven’t read all of the posts but this talk about positionless basketball and the old school 5 is gone, got me thinking? I remember a teammate of Isiah Thomas with the Pistons doing quite well being a hard nosed (did someone say dirty) player underneath while being able to step outside and nail threes at a high rate!

Probably not your issue but. I had the exact same condition with a vehicle 2 months ago. Followed the exact same steps you mention here. I personally tested the Alternator 3 times andf it worked perfectly. Come to find out, it actually was an intermittent short in the alternator. There was a single spot that if it stopped at that spot, it dead shorted the entire system, drained everything but not fast enough to let the smoke leak out of everything. I just post as it's "my" story and after 35 years of working on everything car/ truck/ tractor/boat/ motorcylce... had never saw it before.
Best alternator story I ever had! Had about a 50 mile drive to work, half way all of a sudden the voltage started dropping then all the electronics started going haywire. Called my wife to come get me. Took awhile getting the kids around and driving the 25 miles. I said let me just try it and see if it will start and you can follow me home. Fired right up and ran great until just before I got home same issues! Pulled the alternator and checked everything good, started thinking about what could possibly have occurred I thought temperatures! Put the alternator in the oven at about 150 let it heat soak pulled it out and the field winding was open?

Rico for some reason all I could think of was Jerry Quarry, but think Big George is the Olympic champion!

HH, make sure you get system settings stored before disconnecting cables!!
-
Don’t know about your vehicle, but I know a friend with a much older vehicle was having similar start issues. When I got there he was convinced it was the aftermarket security system. After bypassing some stuff and checking it ought to work I suggested he get new battery cables or at least new ends. Problem fixed!

Wasn't sure where to put this, but I think here works.

I tried to look the record up but they started with 80 yard touchdown passes. I think the kickoff return was a lot quicker! You could be right but at least it was the first! And you sir are correct about the teams! Probably going to be tough to come up with the player name as that play was about his only time to shine. His initials are DW
