  1. Think that is about it for me this season. I don't think tournament is in the cards. Same story as the past 4 or 5 years, can we please get some shot makers on the perimeter. One last thing, I am sick and f---ing tired of watching a team full of guys like Wisconsin get to run their mouths at the end of the game. Wish we had some players on the team that were sick of that sh-- too. Doesn't seem like they are because they let it happen over and over again. This program better figure sh-- out.
  2. And there goes our tournament chances. I am so damn sick of this.
  3. What tye actual f---. Travel and that continuation was straight bull sh*t. Tell me the refs don't matter again. F this stupid conference.
  4. Website seems to be struggling tonight.
  5. We never seem to be able to push the lead. Up 7 with a chance to push to 9 or 10 and we turn it over. They come down and score and back to 5. Been a bugaboo all year.
  6. Play has to shut him up, then let him know about it in the "shake line" after the game. "Scoreboard b*tch"
  7. I want to punch Davison in the face. Can we focus on that? The officials are going to be a subject of consternation when they are that terrible. "They suck every game." Exactly, that's the point. And more often then not we are on the wrong end of the suck. So that is gonna come up.
  8. Every mother frickin game. They will have shot 14 FT's this half. Just BS.
  9. I already question her judgment, engaged to a dirty dickhead.
  10. Yeah, Tyra on my nerves. They are going to keep showing her the whole game.
  11. I hate Wisconsin and Tyra has gotta know you can't wear that W sh*t in Assembly Hall as a former player.
  12. Trayce doesn't shoot half the time. He gets contact and flips the ball at the rim. His "shot" is usually the type of thing you see guys throw up when they have just had a hard foul and they are throwing something at the rim thinking "maybe I get lucky..."
  13. Our offense looks bad because we have 1's, 2's, and 3's that are not good shooters...or they are unable to get a good shot off unless the circumstances are just right. Our starting PG also misses them when they are open enough for it to be a problem. I agree with you that we need more dynamic guards and wings. I think they tend to make the offense look better. The Crean system looked bad when he lacked the players for it (the movements first year anyone?) but was a thing of beauty when you had an NBA center, a 4 who could hit the 3, a dynamic PG, Jordan Hulls, and another NBA 3 who was a dual threat as well. There currently is not one NBA player on the team IMO and the ones we do have with the best chance are all big men. College is a guards game. The best bigs are gone in a year or two, the really good ones do all their development in the pros. We HAVE to beat Wisconsin. I think we really needed to beat Northwestern as well. I am going to be really harsh and say that if we miss the tournament at the end of the year Stewart and Durr would for sure not be asked back and Lander would be iffy. None of them have shown enough to get away with costing a tournament run. If College is a business now, moreso than ever in the past, I'm not here to mess around anymore.
  14. We need better shooting guards and small forwards.
  15. Hard to win when you don't put the ball through the net....
  16. No matter the outcome, Woodson should get himself fined after the game with his media comments.
  17. Hey, Coach listened to some of our brilliant message board coaching this week.
  18. I do hope Galloway gets Stewart's spot to start. That is two guys on the perimeter to start the game who can drive and distribute the ball. We won't "space" the floor as much I guess but Stewart/Kopp don't seem to shoot much anyway. Kind of just hoping the suspensions force Woody's hand a bit, because this is one area where I think he is being stubborn and it just is not working.
  19. It isn't black and white, I agree there. We probably mostly agree and are quibbling around terminology.
  20. We may have some differing levels of responsibility but a 23 year old is not a kid. Edit to add: With the NIL rules in place, these are all basically semi-professional young adults. Between scholarships, stipends, food set asides, and the things the University does to put them in touch with groups to help make money...this is very much a job for them now.
  21. No, they are young adults. Michael Durr is 23 for Pete's sake. I had a college degree, a full time job, and was on my own and paying my own bills at 23. Are they fully mature? Obviously not, but it isn't like these guys are all 15 year olds just making a goof. Which is why I agree with the rest of your post. I think calling them kids takes too much responsibility off of them.
  22. Respectfully, I think you are being kind of naive.
