I too, was so happy to see a 3 go down for Leal. Yeah, it's only 1 basket, but the guy has been an unbelievably good team mate and leader. Rarely makes defensive mistakes. Can get beat, but he plays hard, and smart. Would like to see him come in before Gunn TBH. Gunn is athletic, but that doesn't always translate to production.

Maybe he talks too fast and his pronunciation sucks...

Maybe you kidnapped yourself ! When I was on the road a bunch, like you, I'd wake up and try to remember WTH I was. After a time I came to realize the more important question was "is the bathroom on the right or the left of the bed".

When Morehead State went up by double digit in the 2nd half, I came very close to turning off the game. As a fan, I was very frustrated. Glad I didn't. If Walker's post game interview is any indication, I think the guys will come out with much more effort tomorrow night. We'll see I guess.

That is NOT what I said. I said if Woody had a problem with someone calling him "Woody" he would let them know. Since he doesn't have a problem being called Woody by all accts (of his own), why would I not call him Woody as well? I'm older than most of you on here, and you think I'm going to call you "Mr NCHoosier"? You better think again. The bottom line is that I didn't say I could call him anything I want, because I was older. Words mean things. Your accusation that I could call him anything I want is totally without merit.

If "Woody" or "coach Woody" was bothered by players calling him that, you think he would hold it in and not tell them? (hint: Not a chance in hell). I remember the clip where players imitated Woody's behavior and mannerisms. Woody loved it. Confirms there is a real connection between the players and coach. And yes, I can call him Woody, because he's several years younger than me. He's just a pup to me. To you Millenials and Gen Z'ers, he's an old man. But to some of us he's well into the "sweet spot" in life.

Just watched the post game interview with Walker. Great young man. He's quickly moving up on my favorites list of players.

Watched the Andranga clip, and our setting of screens and use of the screens stinks. Many times the ball handler moves before screen is fully set, giving defense plenty of room to fight over it (without much fight). (it also increases the potential for a "moving screen" offensive foul. And rarely does the screener actually get up into the defensive player, and our ball handler doesn't "rub" off the defender by moving closer to the screener. No wonder we have trouble getting good looks.

I think we should add a "None of the above" choice. If it wasn't for Walker, there is no way to pick MVP.

If you use WQRK (105.5 in B'town) it downloads a player to your laptop/PC. You can PAUSE the playback once it starts to sync to TV stream. I have to wait 1-2 minutes from when the radio starts to the TV stream starting, and the pause works great. Same is true for the Varsity Network radio feed. You can pause that as well.

99% of the time, IU on the tube, Fisch on the ear buds for me. Only exception is when game is one Fox network with Gus Johnson.

The one call that the refs always miss (or ignore) is the moving screen, or a hip/shoulder butt, and shuffling the feet by the screener. I bet they miss 50 of those (both teams) in every game. Wish it would be a "point of emphasis".

Already done. Before the first game, I stated that the vote tracking would only include guys that actually played. A protest vote is fine, but it will not count in the overall tally of the MVP final. Cupps won MVP, Malik is #2 for the Auburn game. (Same result using "weighted" voting, or total votes accumulated for the game.)
