  1. Maybe....but I highly doubt it, at least for those attending in AH. Might affect TV viewership, but big deal. If I had tickets to ANY IU game, I wouldn't miss it for the world, much less the Colts.
  2. OK thanx. I thought it was a 6:30 game.
  3. I don't even have that....just a blank screen.
  4. Anybody got a picture on Peacock for the MD game?
  5. Lurch....what a great nickname for Edey.
  6. I was thinking more about Andre the Giant in "Professional" wrestling...
  7. Illannoy got after it in the 2nd half. Really out hustled us. Our defense looked a step slow. Sara was 0-for on 5-6 three attempts. Very rare.
  8. Guess I'm on the wrong page. Thought this was the IU '23/'24 page, not the NBA page.
  9. Thanx to the link provided by China423, I was able to watch the game free & live on my PC. Even sync'd it with Fisch on the radio. For you guys that missed it and want to use it for future games (maybe the Peacock+ games) here's the link again: https://www.sportsgames.today
  10. I'll be surprised if X & Ware are back at all. X has only had 1 partial day of contact practice according to Woody. If Ware has Covid, highly doubtful he's back at full strength for 2 weeks. Might see some spot minutes (if he tests negative). Don't know for sure if he has Covid, but another poster said he did. Haven't seen any confirmation from Woody, Ware or IU.
  11. Voting results for MVP thru the non-conference schedule is as follows: (excludes MD & MI games. They'll be added into the B1G voting) The ranked vs un-ranked opponents weighted totals are: Malik, Ware, Gallo Non weighted voting, 1 winner only/game: Ware (4), Malik (3), Walker (2) Total votes received: Ware (137), Malik (93), Walker (59) To me, Walker is the surprise here based on the "anticipated" production he would have on the team at the beginning of the year. Many (incl me) thought he would be a minimal minute sub if things got bad with fouls, injuries, etc. He's certainly been a pleasant surprise, and one of my favorites. I'm also surprised that Gallo isn't getting a little more "love" on the voting. His defense and assists are one of the best on the team. His offense is spotty, but he's not option 1 or 2 in the offensive scheme. He's had 12 assists in the last 2 games combined. Far better than anyone else. That's 24+ points created by him (without his own personal points) I'll do another update at the end of Jan for B1G games, and that will include MD & MI.
  12. Obviously Malik, but couple of "at-a-boys" for Gallo (7-8 assists + double figures), and Payton's start was a real spark with 3 quick block shots, plus a bunch of points.
  13. Woody just said so on the pregame with Fisch.
  14. SIAP, but I just finished 2 seasons of "Salvation" on Paramount+. Great drama, so many twists and turns in the story line. I really, really liked it. Got to make it thru the 1st episode or two, and then you're hooked.
  15. I'm not so sure he needs/wants a "stepping stone" job. FAU seems like a pretty good gig to me. IIRC he signed a 10 year extension. Woody's probably good for another 5-7 at least.
  16. Kennesaw state is NOT a cupcake. If we go into this game thinking that, we'll lose.
  17. 50 point win against Bowling Green. Sara with 32 pts. 8 for 11 from 3 pt land.
  18. KSU is no slouch by any stretch. I was at the game last year, and KSU was up like 7 pt, midway thru the 2nd half, before we woke up and started to play team ball. They won't be intimidated by the crowd, and will likely come in with chip on their shoulder.
  19. Agreed. The point I was trying to make (albeit poor wording perhaps) is that Gunn plays too fast, and doesn't let a chance to get a good screen, and a wide open look. The vast majority of his shots have been while he's on the move, trying to create a shot for himself, and forces it.
  20. To me, Gunn is the conundrum. Reminds me of Troy Williams. Great one game, pile of horse apples the next. From my view, it looks like he's trying too hard on offense. Almost like he's trying to prove himself. Like Banks, he needs to slow down a ½ step and let the game come to him.
