Agree. But I think in the last 2 games I've seen a noticeable change in CJ. He looks much more relaxed, dialed in on D, and is letting the game come to him on the Offensive end.

Just for $hitz and giggles, I rewatched the game and took a tally of the number of "box outs" (not rebounds) that we did. What is depressing is that Gallo had as many box outs as Reneau. Here's my tally: Gallo 2 Reneau 2 Gunn 1 X had 1 Mgbako 1 Ware 4 That's disgraceful. No wonder we got out rebounded by 22. If Woody doesn't fix this, it'll be a short season.

Gallo with ANOTHER 7 assist (and 2 steals) game. Really is dishing the ball well. Only 1 TO. Didn't score much, but they took away his drives. so he contributes in other ways, and as always his defense is way above average.

Can't count the number of times we had NO_ONE on the offensive glass. Disgusting.

No contest for me. X !! Great to have him back. Gunn finally hit a couple of shots, but not MVP material IMO.

Latest pet peeve: Armchair coaches who have been beating the same dead horse for the entire season, knowing full well they can't change what Woody does. It's just fine to voice your opinion on lineups, overhelping, use the last scholarship, sub patterns, (or insert your own suggestion) once or twice. But not every friggin post for 2 months....

Terry Moren should teach the men's team on how to block out for rebounds. Women are excellent at it.

What many of us forget is that you can "coach it" until you're blue in the face. But if the players don't execute it in the game, you can't run out there and do it for them. On a separate note, Leal was playing GREAT defense on Wilcher. He needs far more minutes. I like Cupps, but he's not ready for B1G time.
