Interesting question on 4.  I thought he had Cupps based on geography.  But one link I saw said it was Brian Walsh and Coach Ya.

That highlights even more that we need to keep Ya.  I hope we do.  He’s got a long list of successes in one year.  IU, step up on this one.

We should have saved some money form CAM's new hiring, maybe we can boost a couple of assistants' salaries

I would venture to say Woodson just lost a huge part of the fan base. We shall see.

I stick with a simple formula:

    1. If CMW does not win much in the next year or two, then this will be "the start of the end" for people that wish to think that way.
    2. If CMW does win over the next year or two, then no one will care.

Never said he didn't love IU or was a great team mate.  He was not good on defense.  And had a chance to showcase how he is the best shooter on the team and didn't.  Plus if he was such a sniper, he would have found the floor.  He loves IU. So have so many others.  Doesn't mean he has the skillset to take a scholarship.  Regardless if we play 12 or 13, you use your scholarships on the best 12-13 players you can put on your bench because you don't know which of them might move from 12 to 7 in the rotation.  And since IU will always honor his scholarship for scholastics he will have his school payed for and still remain on the team.  Just my thoughts. But this team needs players who might make it on the floor next year, and i just don't see him doing it, unless he makes a huge jump in skillset

I think this is jumping the gun. When Leal committed, he was always picked as someone more likely to contribute as a junior/senior. I do not remember anyone saying he would have an immediate impact. So to date, he has done exactly what we hoped - improved from year to year. A similar improvement this offseason - especially on defense - and he will see the floor

I have not seen anything that makes me think this won't be the case. I do not doubt that he will be a solid contributor on the team the next couple - even to three - years.

Really want to see JG improve his handle. Don't want him stuck in the interior.

If JG gets a good handle look out. He would be driving and, with some momentum, dunking over 7 footers... in fact I found some video of JG in two years:

I give the edge to Geronimo

+1 His athleticism is so off the charts, he could do a VO type jump from sophomore to junior year. Needs to work on handle and continue the improvement he made in shooting, defensive positioning... basically all the important details. But some of the stuff he does, you cannot teach. It will really depend on his offseason dedication.

Maybe VO will work out with him...

To be honest, I still think TJD has an extremely high ceiling as well. Continue to work on the right hand so he is harder to defend and become comfortable with the 10 - 15 footer during the game. He looked good shooting in the practice I saw on Monday.
