  1. I would think if we are talking about speed limits I would take that as a win as a mod. It could be so much worse šŸ˜‚
  2. I have opined on this more and I keep wondering where is it 50MPH around that area. Highway 46 is 50MPH east of I69 heading toward walnut/college. Could have sped in that area down the hill on 46 and would have put him relatively close to the address the stop occurred in a short amount of time. As stated by myself and others above pretty sure thatā€™s close to where he lives.
  3. To himself and his passengers yes but no house or pedestrians. Could be other cars but when I gun it on 69 I make sure. O cars are around.
  4. So he drove away and didnā€™t stop per what we know. Does the arrest say where the infraction occurred? For all we know he sped where I stated and drove to around where he lives which I believe is close to that address you noted.
  5. I think itā€™s worth mentioning that since so many keep bringing up N walnut and his speed, if the report is true and he was going 90 in a 50mph zone he likely was not downtown at all. I would think this would have had to have been around the stretch of N walnut past the north side McDonalds where north walnut intersects with old St Rd 37, maybe even on N 37 Business which is the continuation of N Walnut. Pretty sure the speed here is 45/50 and itā€™s very remote compared to downtown Bloomington. I could also see that they just drove back into town and floored it off the exit from 69. Pretty sure X lives in a place off or close to N Walnut. No matter what I am pretty confident the speeding did not happen downtown as there is no 50mph downtown. It would be good to know where the infraction occurred vs where he got pulled over.
  6. So I have been told they are playing a game on Easter weekend but I am guessing it will be closed to the public as we have not seen anything publicly about fans being able to go.
  7. The thing is with this happening outside of the season he can be punished without being suspended. There is plenty of time and things coach and IU can ask him to do that will be a lot harder than just being suspended for a few games. Suspension would be easy. Instead as so many have suggested letā€™s get him in front of kids and have him talk about what he did and why it was so dumb. Have him earn his time back on the practice court and for games doing community service. Have him meet with families that have lost loved ones in major accidents that could have been avoided. So many harder things can be done here that should make XJ better for it.
  8. I think this is a fair statement but i personally still think when you interact with anyone you invite more people to expect interactions. To your point though if anything as a reporter this guy probably did have an oh shoot moment and thought man I am never getting an interview with him or IU again.
  9. I bet the final charge is no where close to this. You really have no idea how real life works it seems.
  10. Oops guess you guys noted this šŸ˜‚
  11. I-69 is actually a great highway to let it rip in certain spots down here.
  12. Thereā€™s a difference between kids and high level D1 athletes. These ā€œkidsā€ have handlers now and have an image to build. No one wants to be like Kevin Durant with his shadow Twitter account. The athletic department should be using this as a direct example of what not to do. And I have multiple college age kids who do not have Twitter and do not have their other social media accounts public. Itā€™s not hard to teach kids to be smart in particular when you show then examples of the fallout.
  13. So while I like understand and semi appreciate as to why Trace stood up for Lander I think this is a perfect example of why all the players should stay off social media besides making posts to earn NIL money and posts about the team. Responding to trolls gets you nothing but more posts from trolls and even that post is really not that horrid compared to so many other posts out there. Just stay away from social media and donā€™t respond to anyone or anything unless itā€™s a tweet from IU or someone paying you. Itā€™s just not worth it.
  14. This. They didnā€™t identify alcohol which is good. Hopefully it stays that way. I would definitely wait on the full story on this before coming to a conclusion. Also IU football kept Hendershot and after what he was accused of this seems rather minor in comparison with the initial story. I know we live in an instant gratification society but this is definitely one to wait and see on.
  15. Clearly you have not watched lately. Silicon is ruining women's matches for diehards like me that appreciate the natural chest. But these youngsters want their fake chests which cause so many more concussions on contact. And donā€™t get me started on all the changes to little people matchesā€¦.
  16. This vacation talk is getting old. Can we move on to a more pertinent topic, like what are the coaches having for meals each day and how that meal impacts their ability to coach and recruit?! The last thing we need is another Crean bomb in a recruits house. I mean CMW didnā€™t have to worry about what meals he had and when in the pros or where he took a šŸ’©. Completely different game in college and I am not sure heā€™s up for the task.
  17. By the way the Oregon women signed five 5 star recruits in 2020 and now three have left the team in two years. Parrish srarted all year and was second on the team in 3pt%. She appeared to hardly play in their NCAA game compared to other games. Not sure why, could have been fouls or injury but that last game stat line stood out,
  18. Also itā€™s very clear Holmes was still injured and gassed for the last couple tourney games. Quite a few times she just couldnā€™t or wouldnā€™t move to get the easy rebound or box out the missed shot. Donā€™t get me wrong she has been fantastic for IU but a fully healthy Holmes completely changes things for this team over the last month.
  19. I would prefer IU have no more players getting high in season from now on thank you very much. šŸ¤£
  20. Congrats to him, will be interested to see how he does and what the long term future holds for him as a head coach.
  21. No promises, this is Hoosier Sports Nation after all. I ainā€™t happy unless I got someone or something to bitch about.
  22. I am shocked all you goodie goodies would be okay with Adams. We all know bumper stickers are a car accessory gateway drug that only lead to worse things like hula girls on dashboards and stuffed animals in rear windows. Before hiring him I would expect a full inspection of his car. If you find the Club or even a windshield visor you should run away from this guy.
