  1. Will Urban be successful in Jacksonville?
  2. Unfortunately, Silver Creek is not even guaranteed to get out of Sectional. Salem, the #3 ranked team is in Silver Creek's sectional,
  3. This high school season is killing me. Silver Creek has historic teams for both boys and girls, and because of the virus, crowds are family only. Friday night's are supposed to be spent in a packed gym with the crowd screaming and the band playing. Instead, it's spent watching a stream (if there is one) that half the time doesn't even have live announcers. Covid sucks.
  4. Yeah. I'm wondering if the Big 3 ever take the floor together. Kyrie may be done in Brooklyn. If so, I hope there is no team stupid enough to give him another chance. But, there will be.
  5. Was listening to Justin Termine and Eddie Johnson on NBA radio while out running some errands. They absolutely trashed both Kyrie and Harden. I mean it was no holds barred. Basically implied Durant has the two worst possible teammates in the NBA. Made it clear that they thought both were cancers to any team. They said no way Kyrie was going to accept being 3rd fiddle. In a play on words, they said Durant left the Warriors and the Splash Brothers to play for the Nets and the Dribble Brothers.
  6. If things go as I expect, those last couple of first rounders the Rockets get from Brooklyn will be lottery picks.
  7. LOL. I know. I misread your post and thought you were reporting the Harden trade, As I was reading it, my son shoved his phone in my face about Vic, and I thought I had a scoop.
  8. Exactly. This should be a win for the Pacers. And, Levert is probably thrilled to be away from all the drama that Kyrie is causing in Brooklyn.
  9. The Rockets Traded James Harden To The Nets In A Massive Deal That Will Send Them Victor Oladipo And 8 Picks (uproxx.com)
  10. And, Lavert going to Pacers for Dipo.
  11. Vaccine developed in China, and used in other countries (such as Brazil), not as effective as advertised. Barely meeting the 50% minimum required by WHO. China's Sinovac vaccine trial results far less effective than initially claimed in Brazil - CNN
  12. How in the world is Penn State going to make up all these games?
  13. You can treat it over and over, but Cockburn always comes back. Sorry, but that will never get old.
  14. Kentucky baseball, hoops player Ben Jordan dies at 22 (espn.com) Was a walk-on for UK hoops last season.
  15. Coronavirus Will Resemble the Common Cold, Scientists Predict (msn.com) First published in New York Times
  16. Percentage of ICU beds on 12/1 in use for Covd patients in Indiana - 45.8% Percentage of ICU beds on 1/11 in use for Covid Patients in Indiana - - 25.9%
  17. In conference, our split is 3 & 3. Not sure we have anything to complain about there. Outside of conference, we had 4 neutral site, and only 1 true road game (FSU). Other teams, like Michigan and Minnesota may have benefitted from a home heavy schedule. But, with no fans, that's not as meaningful as it would normally be. I have to say, we probably are who we are at this point.
  18. I'm optimistic that Indiana is finally making some progress. Hospitalizations reported today are at their lowest level since 11/9.
  19. Didn't want to start a new thread on this. But, at this point in the season, these are TJD's national rankings in some stats. 1st - 2 point FG attempts 2nd - 2 point FGs made (to Garza) 2nd in FTs made (to Marcus Carr) 2nd in FTs attempted (Jalen Moore of Oakland) 9th in Minutes played 6th in defensive rebounds 8th in total rebounds 4th in total points 8th in Defensive Win Shares 7th in Total Win Shares I know some think he doesn't get enough touches, but these numbers indicate otherwise. 2020-21 Leaders | College Basketball at Sports-Reference.com (sports-reference.com)
  20. Vaccine distribution may be changing by the end of the month, The current approach is to hold back some distribution to ensure there are enough 2nd doses to give to those that received a first dose. The possible change in approach will be to release almost all available does now to hopefully increase the number of first doses and then allow/expect manufacturing to keep up with the demand of second doses. I understand the rationale of both approaches. But, I am getting Covid weary and will ultimately be behind whichever approach helps us get where we need/want tp be. If anyone wants to discuss, please stay on the pros and cons of each approach and leave any politics out of the discussion Exclusive: Biden will release nearly all available vaccine doses in break from Trump administration policy of holding back stock for second dose - CNNPolitics
  21. Agreed. The vaccine may have nothing to do with his death. Just, like the 98 year old people in an nursing home that die 2 months after getting the vaccine. It's highly likely that it was not the vaccine that killed them. And, quite honestly, unless there was some direct correlation proven, this story should never have been written until more facts were received. Again, the media is stirring the pot. Someone will see that headline, read not further, and choose not to get the vaccine.
