Not what Cubs fans wanted to see from Justin Steele on Opening Day.

There goes my bracket. I needed 'Zona to go to the Final Four.

2024 SF Bryson Tucker Commits to INDIANA!!
5fouls replied to KDB's topic in General Basketball Discussion
It's the way the game is played nowadays whether we like it or not. -
I picked UConn. The strategy I used when two team were in the same tier was to pick the team closest to the tier line in front of them. When I got to the Final 4 and everyone was Tier 1, without another tier 'in front', I sided with Offense over Defense. So, my Final Four matchups were UConn over Arizona and Purdue over Houston, with UConn winning over the Boilers in a close one.

Was able to read part of this post without my reading glasses. Increasing my carrot intake must be working.

I picked every game of the tournament based on this data. It resulted in me missing out on some of the early round upsets, but I am set up very well from here on out. People that picked teams like UK to got to the Final Four would have benefitted from looking at this information.

I take it the coach has a son or two on the team? Regardless, that's ridiculous.

I'm legit sick and stayed home from work today. Thought to myself that there are worse days to be out sick than Opening Day. Plant myself in front of TV and watch baseball. Then I find out that the 1 o'clock games are rained out. What a cruel joke.

Kel’el Ware Declares for the NBA Draft
5fouls replied to Maedhros's topic in General Basketball Discussion
I think it's fair to give the IU coaches some credit. Ware alluded to it in his thank you. TJD has spoken openly about it as well. Development can even mean something like getting hom to play harder for the full 40 minutes. Doesnt have to strictly mean his shooting form or footwork in the post improved (though that could be true as well) -
Mgbako is the last remaining decision
5fouls replied to iuswingman's topic in General Basketball Discussion
Well shoot. I was making a list of similar nicknames for you. Thought it would be fun. I guess if you're not a fan of MgBako getting called Taco, then you probably wouldn't like it if I referred to you as Burrito, Enchilada, or Taquito. Maybe Sauerkraut? -
That's where he ended up. But, he had already left before getting that opportunity.

So, why did Thad step away when he did? I'm indifferent on Fife, but losing Thad when we did was a red flag about the direction of the program in my mind.

'23-'24 College Hoops Across the Nation(NOT IU!)

My perception would be that teams accepting a NIT bid are in a better place than those declining a puck. Whatever the reason, declining the bid should raise eyebrows, if not a red flag. -

Headline in Lexington Herald Leader. Someone may be looking for a job, and it isn't the Kentucky Basketball Coach. -
You would seriously take Dennis Gates over Woodson? Missouri went 0-18 in the SEC this season.
