We are currently playing ourselves out of the tournament.
Squarely on the bubble.

I’m sorry, but posts like, this after a game, are just absolutely ridiculous.!!!
Good Grief!! 🤬
I try to bite my tongue, but MAN, I’m just as frustrated as anyone. The best thing Coach Woodson did last game was to bench those 5 players! That’s takes a bigger man to do what he did.
Absolutely the right thing to do!

This has become so predictable - forced shots, missed free throws and poor 3 pt shooting from our so called sharpshooters. We are what we are…just an average team.

With his attitude and toughness, he could play on any IU team of any era.
Imagine if he were 2-3 inches taller or could shoot consistently.
He would have been one of Knight’s favorites.

Other than highlight dunks, I’m starting to believe Race is a better player than TJD, especially in B10 play.

Yet, somehow in the game.
Because MSU isn’t much better.

This is an ugly 1st half…period! We are so limited offensively.

Galloway for Stewart…it’s the right move for a number of reasons, especially when you’ve been suspended twice in the same year. Seems to be a good kid that’s been through a lot since losing his dad, but Galloway deserves the start.

Unfortunately, we are not the only team with something to prove today. Combine the fact that MSU has been a better program when it comes to 'proving' things over the last few years with the fact that they are at home means we may not have hit bottom yet.
I hope you’re wrong, but you’re probably right….but wouldn’t it be nice to be surprised! That’s why we’re fans and watch with such anticipation.

Let’s go with TJD, Race, Kopp, XJ and Galloway, and sub Stewart for Kopp. That way we always have a 3 point threat in the game. We should be quicker and even better defensively with Galloway on the floor as a starter. No need for Kopp and Stewart to be in the game at the same time.

Wow, this is depressing. Is this program cursed or what?

Well is wasn’t Covid that got us, but a bunch of knuckleheads. For all those out there who wanted a shakeup in the starting 5, here you go. Let’s see what we’re made of, and good for CMW doing the right thing!

We’ll that was disappointing because I really thought we would win today, but Illinois was the better team. We have a lot of work to do, but we competed the entire game and gave it our best shot. It just wasn’t good enough. We’ll bounce back and still finish in the upper half of the B10, which will be a big improvement considering where we’ve been the past few years. Anyway, it’s fun to watch and have hope again that we’ll win games like this rather than dreading the outcome.

Would love to see Illinois beat Wisconsin tonight and then we beat Illinois on Saturday. They would both have 3 losses and we would be in great shape in the standings heading into the home stretch.

I think Auburn is going to be really, really hard to beat. They're the most complete, deep team I have seen in a very long time.
Much like Baylor last year.

Nebraska up by 6 at Michigan with 7:00 to play. Michigan 1-12 from three at home. Didn’t they shoot about 80% from 3 against us? Seems like everybody plays their best game of the season when they play us.

I’m 68, so Ive seen a lot over the years and would rate them accordingly. Even though Kentucky isn’t in the B10, I have to include them in any list.
1. PU
2. UK
3. MSU
4. OSU
5. ILL

if we win 4 of those 5 i will be ecstatic! if we win 3 i would also be ecstatic!
With that schedule, I’ll take 3 out of 5 and be thrilled, but this team has the potential to win all of them, and I’m sure that’s what the coaching staff has in mind.

Woody is bringing this team along nicely and building momentum at the right time. Can you imagine, if this was still Archie’s team? What a difference a coach can make when players are allowed to play freely and know their coach is in their corner. It was so painful to watch the last few years, and now it’s fun again!

Now let’s see if we can play a solid 40 minutes on the road for the win, and then go home and get ready for Illinois.

If we lose this game, it’s because of missed layups and poor shots, not the refs.
