I’m sure our guys are watching the scores, and hopefully this will be a wake up call for them. You can’t underestimate any of these teams or you go home.

Iowa is in deep trouble. Keegan Murray looks like he’s sleep walking…. what’s up with that?

We’ve had so many chances to blow this game wide open, but letting it slip it away again.

Ugly 1st half, but if we continue to play defense we’ll win. 

Super excited about next week, but frustrated again that we couldn’t put the game away with 9pt lead with 3:30 to play. We shouldn’t be in a position to let a prayer like that beat us. We are so close to being a really good team. Having said that look out because Sweet 16 here we come!
 

I’m well past making predictions, but what the last two games have shown is when this team is focused and plays with heart they can beat anyone. We should have beaten Iowa at their place, so why not beat them in Indy!

Wow, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen a Hoosier team dig in and compete like that….it was fun to watch!

As good as TJD was in the 2nd half, we don’t win without XJ leading the way. Geronimo, Galloway and Kopp all came up big, and Rob gave us some good minutes too.

Now let’s get Illinois and leave no doubt in the committee’s mind where we belong.

Many are writing off next year, if we lose TJD and Trace, but look at Iowa. They lost 2 players in Garza and Wieskamp to the NBA and they’re better this year than last. If XJ comes back and we pick up couple talented transfers to go along with our underclassmen, we may be better next year too…imagine that!

Yeah, the ladies should be a 4 seed and in a position to make a run like last year. Probably won’t see Iowa again, but if we do I don’t think they beat us again.

Nice to have an IU team to root for, because it’s not looking good for the men.

Yesterday was good, but just 69% for the season tells the story. 

I hope the men’s team is watching the ladies play. They could learn a thing or two, especially how to shoot FTs. The women put on a clinic from the line, and our men throw up one brick after another.

I guess I was so frustrated that I didn’t realize which thread I was on. What can I say… old and confused!

If TJD comes back I hope Woody has seen enough to know that we can’t play through him and win consistently. We need shooters and playmakers. I like TJD and he’s represented the school well, but he’s not the answer to our problems.

What a frustrating season. With the exception of the Michigan game, we were in every game with a chance to win, but we just don’t have a go to guy in the big moment. 

We just can’t come up with the big play at the end of games. We need a closer in the biggest way.

He’ll be back unless he wants to play in Europe, because it looks more and more like he won’t be drafted.

XJ kept us in the game. He’s one of the few I hope comes back next year.
