Just think…if we had made a few 3s, we probably win this game by 25, and make no mistake, OSU is a very good team. Now we need to follow up with another solid win against Minnesota on Sunday, and get on a roll!

TJD led the team in +/-. Xavier and Trey were tied for second.
OSU came in with the 8th ranked O in the country and we shut them down. Our D is for real.
It’s all about effort!

First 40 minute effort of the season.

As good as TJD has been, Galloway is the MVP!

Looks like Woody getting after TJD paid off!

Needless to say this is a big possession coming out of the timeout.

If Parker and Kopp can start knocking down some 3s this game is over. Surely, we can do do better than 20% from 3 in the second half!

I want to be optimistic, but what this team lacks is a true leader with a “refuse to lose” mentality. Unfortunately, it seems that role has been given to TJD by default, simply because he’s an All American. But as good as he is, he’s just not a true leader. It’s hard to win the tough games without a guy that will set the tone for the rest of the team, and we just don’t have that right now. The really good teams have a go to guy that consistently makes the big plays when the game is on the line, and that’s what we’re missing.

Now that I’ve had a somewhat decent night’s sleep, and a little time to reflect on what happened last last, I realized I was more surprised that we were actually up by 22 pts on the road than the fact we lost the game. I still believe that Woody will get these guys to believe in themselves, and we’ll win 2-3 games on the road this year putting us in the top tier of the B10.

Not much to say other than DISGUSTING….a lot of blame to go around! I’ve been a Hoosier fan for over 50 years, and I can’t remember a worse loss! It’s sad to say, but I saw this coming with the way we closed out the the 1st half. Better turn this around in a hurry or this will be another lost season.

Disappointing loss because of the poor start and turnovers, but the upside was we showed a toughness that we haven’t had in several years. We haven’t shot 41% from 3 in a big game since Yogi and Jordy ran the show. We cut the turnovers in half and we win the game by 15+. Kopp and Parker are settling in nicely, and if they continue to play like they did tonight we’ll be tough to beat. A loss is a loss, but I’m confident Woody will use this as a learning experience and motivation for future wins. Fully expect wins against Nebraska and Wisconsin.

As goofy as Crean was, you have to love the guy for pulling us out of the dumpster and bringing in players like Cody, Christian, Vic, Jordy, Yogi and more. Those were fun teams to watch!
Having said that....it was definitely time for him to go when he got his walking papers.

Someone may have already said this, but Kopp reminds me of a Steve Green / Brian Evans type of player...if that turns out to be the case, then we just got a lot better.
Let the season begin!
