Most of the time would leave them white but would use the colors for a week around Valentines, Easter, 4th of July, Halloween, Christmas, etc. Maybe go crimosonon IU game days? There are other manufacturers. I like the concept of a permanent color changing accent light. https://us.govee.com/collections/outdoor-lights/products/govee-rgbicww-led-permanent-outdoor-lights If they’re out of the elements, yeah, probably worth a shot. DWB
Does this "plumber" know something I don't about glue joints?

Not sure about the glue joints but he has figured out that you need something (rock) to resist the blowout force. Remember they were putting in a new 30” line at the water plant they poured tens of yards of concrete at the 90deg turn. The old physics law force equals mass times acceleration. It takes a lot to make a moving 30” column of water turn 90deg!

Oh I’d say that plumber knows a thing or two about joints. Looks like he indulged in a few of them while working this job.

I was going to try to turn that “30” column” line into a double entendre about my tallywhacker, but I’m on my third bourbon of the night and creativity is failing me at the moment.

I think you are trying to describe "Peyronies Disease" Pipe fitters. When ya gotta screw around with corners, Peyronies is your first call ! Bottle jacks have far more leverage than (any kind) of jack supported by a crowbar with the end down on the ground.

I was just working on a mower and had to use the stock bottle jack from my truck. It seems weird that you can lift an entire vehicle from a 1” X 1” pad. Maedhros
Well, I have a project that's beyond my DIY skills. Who all has a company they'd recommend for HVAC replacement in the Indy area?

Sometimes it might be fixable, unless you've already gotten a diagnosis from a pro on it. I thought I needed to replace mine, but it just needed a new mother board. It's 24 years old, and replacement seems a better investment than repair. Still works, but motors are failing, some pieces are corroded to hell, including the outdoor unit which rattles and keeps us up.

With it being so old, you're probably losing some efficiency as well. I moved from Indy in 2008, so my contacts are long gone. Sorry. Plan everything out, down to the last inch, have poles, canes, benches, sticks, large rocks, ropes, pullies, all organized. Get one foot in the boat.... turn upside down, stand up to see if anyone was looking... kick the MF'er... check to see where your (my) cell phone is... Try again. The dock is intended to have roof eventually, for coffee in the am and not coffee in the very shortly after not AM. And then a bigger boat, this canoe shit SUX !!! MOIST.
