I can live with losing games if we always have that defensive intensity. But it’s been non-existent lately. We may not be able to score certain days or just not shoot it well, but we can definitely show up with that D every night. Props to JG. Been taking a lot of ire lately but he gave us exactly what we needed. He was the MVP in my book. JHS is talented. Can really be frustrating sometimes / makes a lot of poor decisions, but hit a lot of big mid range jumpers today. TJD played like he had a chip on his shoulder, and in unusual fashion didn’t let a bigger center just push him around. Everybody else played their role and didn’t hurt us. Play D and don’t turn it over and we can win games even without XJ and Race. If we had played this hard in AZ, KS, RU, and the conference, and still had this record, I don't think we'd be complaining nearly as much. But...we didn't and here we are. Fighting for our lives.
