Minnesota Post Game Thread

We've got one of the tallest teams in the nation, much less the B10, and yet we get out rebounded by MN in a home game.

Still harping on our inability to block out on the defensive glass. Watched the game again and came up with a whopping 10 total block outs by IU players (for the entire game). No wonder MN got 13 Offensive rebounds and picked up 14 points as a direct result of that. 14 points because we haven't figured out how to put a body on a guy to get a rebound. I learned that in 8th grade, and it's not tough.

MN guys were blocking us out far better than we did them when they were on offense! And we're only sending 2-3 guys to the defensive glass. Most of the time its only 2.

Nice to see MM improve off the bounce! Good use of lineups from Woodson for first time all year. Not sure why it took middle January to figure out mass subs don’t work but better late than never

He obviously keeps tabs on this board.

I know you're joking, but Bardo did say Indiana fans felt "entitled" to criticize the coach about lineups, so he saw that somewhere... Probably on Twitter (X)

I wouldn't start XJ the rest of the way.  If he doesn't like it, he can quit.

Cupps shoot the f'ing ball.

Every time he releases it, I think it’s going in. Maybe it’s because i think he looks like Jordy and I’m getting flashbacks.

Respectively, other than the way they look, I don't see anything similar between the two.

The kid can hit shots. I’m at a loss as to why he doesn’t shoot when he gets open looks. Freshmen jitters should have went away long ago. Especially at home games.

Feels like he doesn’t get many open looks. I’d like to see us run some stuff for him to try and build that confidence. He doesn’t look to score at all.

It hurts us that he’s not as aggressive as he should be when he’s in. He doesn’t need to be option #1, but sometimes it feels like 4 on 5 when he’s in because he’s too passive. Regardless, he’s been better than X lately.

I really have a distain for Peacock. As long as the public gives into paying to watch a game, the more games are going to go to this format. It's a cash cow! We pay for TV as is but are now paying for more TV. Is this to cover for the NIL $. By not giving into this system, they will have no reason to continue to force the public to pay this tax to watch games.

This is to cover the huge amount of money they are giving to the broadcasters like NBC.  For example they expect the chiefs game today to be the most watched fully streamed game ever.  The BIG did this to maximize TV revenue.

Quicker, confident recognition of when he's open, where his spots are to score.

It’s worse than passing up open shots. He’ll pass up an open 8 foot shot in the lane and turn his back to the basket, Then on the next possession, he’ll put up a drifting 20 footer that has no chance. Thinking too much, then gets baited into bad shots.

I think some of it is the release point, he can shoot.
