Seriously? So what the players want from the situation has no weight? Or the staff should make up @#$% to get them to come? IU is far from a top destination for players as much as we (the fans) may think differently. Even the schools that are currently top destinations, don't get every recruit they want (or "make top priority").

I'm sure all of these potential transfers have an honest conversation with the staff around what their role will be at IU. For some, like Ledlum, that role is going to be different at other schools (or at least he may be told he'll have a bigger role). If the role we need him to fill doesn't align with what he wants, so be it.

It's just about if our roster is improving or not. Not an attack on the person or a celebration of someone departing. I hope every guy that puts on that jersey tears it up and has a great career but some don't. I can't remember a single IU player in my almost 50 years as a fan that I "wanted" to leave.

He's familiar with the ACC, he's from North Carolina (30 minutes from Duke), and Duke is as successful and high profile of a program as there is currently.

Yup. TJD is a massive hole to fill and not one player is going to do that. Gonna have to replace his production (points, rebound, assists, and blocks) with multiple players (additions and returning players).

We all recall how rebounding was a deficiency with this year's team right? I know, I know... but that was in the MAC. Still...

General consensus seems to be that we'd prefer Ledlum over Battle Outstanding question is would we prefer Battle over not adding another "4" (I would say yes if anyone cares) Maybe we should discuss politics to settle things down a bit
