Doing a little analysis this morning and here's how I break down the major conference performances so far in the tournament. I've always measure success based on wether or not a team validates their seed not based on the fan expectations. I view 8/9 seeds in the first round and 4/5 seeds in the second round as a push. I'm also considering the play in games as a push but you could argue losing that game as underachieving. So with that, here's how it breaks down: Iowa and Wisconsin were the 2 big let downs from the Big10 and watching Bohannon and Davison flame out was fine by me.

Agreed. I actually think they brought Durr in to have a big body for Trayce to go against in practice day in and day out more so than to get major backup minutes.

I know many will disagree but I look at this game and beyond as gravy. Getting into the field of 64 is the ceiling for how this team plays on average. Now if we play above average (like we did in the BTT) we could win and advance. 5th game in a week plus a cross country red-eye is a lot to overcome physically even for 20 year olds.

How many ridiculous clutch shots can Ron Harper Jr. and Rutgers hit? Can't say I'm sad to see them lose to the Irish though. That was a crazy game.

Dreadful? Really?? SMH. So much talk about how bad Wyoming's offense was. Yeah, our defense had absolutely nothing to do with that. Sheesh. Stewart was so dreadful that our staff benched him for all but 3 minutes of the game. XJ was so dreadful that his +/- tied TJD's for best last nite at +10 (that's pretty significant in an 8 pt win btw). If they aren't filling up the offensive stat sheets they suck I guess.

Great win! I'm really excited for the players here. They have worked so hard to get to experience the tournament and now to win and advance is awesome. The game itself was a dominating defensive performance from IU. So many fans are complaining about the shooting whoas that it's detracting from defensive side of the game IMO. PStew played more minutes than anyone else last night and was a huge factor in keeping their PG in check and turning them over so much yet let's focus on his one over zealous closeout and the 2 3's he missed. So many other good things from the defensive side but offensive stats are the gauge most people seem to use to determine if someone had a good game or not so I won't waist any more time calling those out (plus I'm trying to get this posted for the 3rd time before the site goes down again 😉 )
