I welcome him and his size but seems slow and likely good for 5 fouls and 5 mins against actual competition.

I will give the benefit of the doubt to anybody willing to give up starter minutes to come play at IU. It's actually refreshing. He looks really big.

  2. I bet he plays more than everyone is anticipating, at least at the start of the year. Takes younger guys a lot longer to be functional on both sides of the ball. I also think JG can play some 3. He seems like a guy who plays with confidence but was being held back last year. He had no defined role and seems like he's got an ok shot.

Can you post the link please and thank you

AJ Moye on Instagram and Watford (and his brother) on Twitter. Southern guys. Both consider him like family. People can bash the hire, but unless he's the dumbest guy ever, I would hope being investigated by the FBI scared him completely straight. This seems like a slam dunk hire for recruiting. He seems like a guy people/players/recruits love.

I’d like to see a white coach to go along with Woodson and Hunter. Mix things up a little bit. I am partial to Fife and Lewis, who I would put in-front of Jamal because of their resumes .

Thad Matta isn’t on the bench, or recruiting. It would be nice to be diversified for all players on the current team , or to whom would like to join down the road. Just like normally if you see a white head coach, you normally see a black coach as an assistant. It’s no difference.

This is just pretty dumb. Players white and black etc. can relate to coaches regardless of their skin color. Not being PC, just being real.

  5. So he’s not taking the IU job, but got a raise from the Celtics? Seems like his wife is a pretty good agent. Sorry, if he really wanted the job, he’d take it. If any of the rumors were true, he was just doing what pros do, playing people against each other to get the best deal. Not saying he wasn’t interested, but he really wasn’t.

I'm with you.  It would be a risk, but could pay off big.  He understands Indiana better than anyone left on the list.

He's my pick. But I am basing this on how well he recruited Indiana at times and his runs in the the tourney. But I'm curious why people don't like him? He's only 53. Granted his last few years were not great, but beside his last couple years, I would kill for those results.

CJ will always be one of my favorite players for taking me away from the halftime show

You didn't need to watch it to know who he picked. He had IU color emoji's and was retweeting Armaan's game winner like an hour before. I really hate the announcement stuff, but mostly because I don't really understand the "mystery" aspect of it. Like I'm all for having a formal announcement but I do not like the whole hat switcharoo thing etc.

The 'Fighting Sampsons' of Houston rose up and slayed the Saints of Our Lady of The Lake by a score of 112-46.  Though obviously undermanned, the Saints could do one thing well.  They went 13-14 from the line.  Wonder what IU's record would be with some 13-14 days from the line.

And, kudos for Houston to go out and find such a challenging opponent.  What.....the 7th grade team at Franklin Middle School was booked?

Houston is ranked in the top 10 and have played one top 50 team. I wonder what their record would be in the Big Ten?
