Fauci looking pretty bad after his emails being revealed. He knew last Jan the virus was engineered. He also knew facemasks didn't help yet continued to lie to America about that. He is being exposed. What else did he lie about? I hope he gets investigated and prosecuted, if necessary. Sickening that he was putting his personal interests / beliefs ahead of the American public.

I highly doubt the measles vaccine had 99% participation within 6 months of adoption. I'd imagine this vaccine will get there but it will take time. Let it get perfected. I just don't see a need to mandate something that would alienate many taxpayers.

Last I checked, that did not make up such a large % of the population. I'm not in favor of disenfranchising 1% but 20-30% is another story.

IU is funded by tax $. For them to mandate a vaccine, discriminates against those who choose not to get one for whatever religious, political, or other reason. if 20% of the people in the state choose not to get the vaccine, that group is being unfairly punished.

The new “factsheet” showed that the BioNTech/Pfizer vaccination was tested on 1097 children and adolescents from 12 to 15 years of age. As you can see from my link above, cases are declining rapidly as more people get their vaccines and a larger population develops antibodies (if @btownqbhas natural antibodies, why would he need a vaccine until before his antibodies are shown to have declined?) Combine that with those who have natural immunity and I expect #s to continue to fall. Nothing we do in the US from this point on will affect variants. Mutations will occur in the rest of the world where vaccination rates are lower. My neighbor has an 11 yr old daughter that just got Covid. Mild symptoms but had a loss of taste that prompted them to get her tested. Does she now need a vaccine? I'd argue she doesn't. Could she still get into IU?

I went to Costco Fri eve just before closing so it wasn't terribly busy. They did have the sign up that vaccinated people no longer needed to wear a mask. It seemed like 90% + were still wearing.

Am I missing something regarding Buckley? It looks like he only started 1 game his Jr year and had 11 catches. He "slid down the depth chart" ? No doubt he has some talent as his stats his first two years attest but was there something aside from the injury going on? I thought we had pretty good quality and depth at WR so not sure where he fits in. I guess adding SEC speed and experience can't hurt.

I'd be ok with a mandate for the teachers but I think they should wait awhile for the students. They are a low risk group and they should take more time to study how the vaccine could impact younger people. No need to rush into this.

I wish I had got an antibody test before getting vaccinated. I've said it on here before, had we been testing for antibodies, that would have freed up a lot of vaccine doses. A positive antibody test should carry the same weight, maybe even greater weight, than a vaccination.

Been to many a Cougars game. For Cub Scouts they would have a movie after the game you could watch from center field and then afterwards would camp out in tents. Blackberry Creek ran through my backyard. Kept watching the water rise and eventually put up sandbags but didnt need them to as the water stopped a few feet from my house. Did flood a bunch of my neighbors. That is when I learned the value of high ground!
