I have no clue, that was awhile ago. I know some argue the lethality is less because the age group is generally younger. I don't think I've seen anything comparing lethality by age group. From what I've read, that seems to be what is happening with these variants

No pics but my wife brought in our first green pepper and first 4 cucumbers. I think we are up to near 10 zucchini. Strawberries didn't do well. Baby rabbit snuck thru our fence and ravaged her peas. Looks like tomatoes are coming soon.

Whew! I went a slightly unconventional route as well. We eloped. No family, just the two of us for a two week honeymoon. It was a second marriage for the both of us so we had both already done a traditional wedding.

My wife is squeamish about strangers in our vehicles so we rarely valet. She lysols the vehicle every time I bring it back after servicing. Do you tip the valet in advance? Otherwise wouldn't it be too late to keep them from going through your stuff?

I wouldn't say it its a rule but I like to have the total bill end in a whole dollar. I used to be a 15% guy but over the last year find myself more in the 20% and up category. If a bill is $50.50 I would tip $10.50 to make the total $61. Probably goes back to the days of balancing a checkbook manually and trying to save myself some time. One category you missed is bartenders. Depending on the place, and how many singles I have, it is either $1 or $2 / beer for me.

No doubt. Death reporting has been messed up all along. First, too many deaths linked to COVID, now too many linked to the vaccine.

The vaccine is now a top 50 cause of death in the US. Separately, I heard on the radio yesterday there are trials going on for a 3rd booster shot. Apparently adverse reactions are worse than from the second shot. People are dropping from the trial before a fourth shot. This will be important to follow for the rest of the year. Editted to add that after researching further, a large trial on the 3rd dose recently started in the UK. No surprise, Pfizer (trying to capitalize on variant fears?) just announced they will be seeking approval for the 3rd dose even though trial results are months away. https://www.reuters.com/business/healthcare-pharmaceuticals/pfizer-ask-fda-authorize-booster-dose-covid-vaccine-delta-variant-spreads-2021-07-08/ Lastly, be aware some are saying efficacy declines after 6 months. While that may be true, efficacy against severe cases, hospitalizations and deaths still remains at 95%+. I could see where getting a mild asymptomatic case after vaccination would be beneficial and possibly eliminate the need for further boosters.

Just ignore anyone who has doubts. The vast majority here appreciate these nuggets and understand that some times things change in the mind of a teenager.
