I thought Woodson mentioned more than once that the offensive approach was going to change when TJD left. He appears to doubled down on this offensive approach.

Like this comment from Dauster hurts, but it’s true. Playing in games like this exposes us.

Valid point. It realizes how far we have to go. If this was a high caliber game against 2 good teams and we happened to lose, I think the disappointment would be a lot less. We’re not playing in the same stratosphere. Woodson is about playing these neutral court games against high quality competition and I think we can applaud that (after all its year 3) but we need to be able to put a product on the floor that can sustain quality play and compete.

Yup…at a minimum shrink to 8. That gives us our best chance.

You’re the numbers guy…I would definitely agree. Big ten being weak means more wins but less quality.

Who has said Woodson shouldn’t be the coach? I don’t think anybody has said that and if someone did, so be it…I would disagree, but it’s their opinion.

Effort indeed. It looked like we showed some during the first 5 min of the second half where it made me believe we could get it to single digits. Short-lived thought. Auburn was also a tougher team.

Agreed that we have a lot to dissect. I will say that more often than not we find ourselves saying this is a rebuild season…myself included. I’m just tired of having to say it and think it 4 out of every 5 years. It’s very frustrating.

Our bench hurt us and not having X in this game limited us. Maybe this game will cause a smaller rotation. They smelled blood in the water and pressured our guards all day.

Very frustrating on the national stage. Kansas is a home game…I would expect us to come out.

FYI…still watching the game but it doesn’t make you a fairweather fan if someone turns off the game because they don’t want to subject themselves to more misery.

Thanks for your input Scott….this has literally zero to do with being a fairweather fan. A lot of people simply don’t want to or can’t afford to spends hundreds if not thousands of dollars to witness games like this. It may be more economical to watch on tv.

At what point do our great fans stop traveling to these type of events? More often than not it’s an unserious game on the national stage.
